Overview

Aquabella Hotel & Spa is a property inspired by Provence's tranquility and Aix's historical charm. Ideally situated in the town center, you'll only be a 5-minute walk away from Pavillon Vendôme, Place des Cardeurs, and the famous works of Paul Cézanne. Here, you'll also be close to several restaurants within less than a mile, where you can indulge in the local food scene.

Aquabella Hotel & Spa features modern, spacious rooms, including four Belvedere suites, which have been recently renovated. Each room offers refined decor with beautifully patterned walls and pops of color. Choose from various units with views overlooking the Tourreluque, the cathedral, or the charming rooftops of the Old Town.

The Sensory Spa, free for hotel guests over 17, offers a Finnish sauna, two hammams, experience showers, a Jacuzzi, a gymnasium with 22 machines, and a heated outdoor swimming pool. L'Orangerie restaurant, headed by Chef Boris Diano, serves succulent dishes in Mediterranean style. For a laid-back vibe, take advantage of the Sunday Brunch at the hotel, which features a colorful gourmet buffet with a variety of freshly prepared dishes. You can also lounge in the hotel's Mediterranean garden, designed for relaxation.

Our stay at Hotel Aquabella was amazing with all the amenities of a large hotel and spa. There is a large pool and the hotel provides robes and flip flops for the pool and spa. I found the rooms tired and “cheap” feeling, a stark contrast to the lovely lobby and friendly staff. The breakfast sausage was completely cold both mornings, and our soft-boiled eggs didn’t cook even after 15 minutes in the water (which must have also not been hot enough). The fresh orange juice was delicious, however, and the location was great. Read more
