How did you get involved in travel?
"I had the privilege to travel a lot with my family when I was a kid. Later on I finished tourism school which taught me a lot, but couldn't hold me back from seeing the world with my own eyes. Curiosity kicked in and brought me to my first travels in Southeast Asia. After some months, loaded with stories to tell, I decided to come back to Austria and study environmental education. During my studies I embarked on shorter trips, knowing that one day I will be leaving again for a longer journey.
Literally, the same month I finished my studies, I left to travel again, this time though it felt different... it felt like I won't be coming back so soon...
And here I am, 7 years later. Still full-time travelling the world as a tour guide, sport & adventure guide, northern lights guide, climbing instructor, musician, teacher, student, acrobatics artist, digital nomad and so on :)

"One unforgettable travel experience I had in Guatemala was when I ventured deep into the heart of the lush Petén jungle to explore the ancient Mayan city of El Mirador. This remote and mysterious archaeological site is often referred to as the "Cradle of Maya Civilization."
The journey to El Mirador was a true adventure. It began with a several-hour trek through dense rainforests, guided by local experts who shared their knowledge of the local flora and fauna. Along the way, we encountered vibrant bird species, howler monkeys swinging through the treetops, and elusive jaguar tracks, heightening the sense of being in a truly wild and untouched place.
Reaching El Mirador was an awe-inspiring moment. The first sight of the massive, ancient temples emerging from the jungle canopy left me speechless. Climbing to the top of one of these monumental pyramids, I watched the sunset over the endless sea of green, casting an enchanting glow over the jungle canopy.
As the stars emerged, we camped near the ruins, and I couldn't help but imagine what life must have been like for the ancient Maya in this remote city centuries ago. The stillness of the night was occasionally broken by the eerie calls of howler monkeys, creating a sense of timelessness and connection with the past.
The next morning, we explored the intricately carved stelae and inscriptions, learning about the rich history and culture of the Maya. This adventure to El Mirador was a truly immersive experience, filled with both natural wonders and archaeological marvels, and it left an indelible mark on my soul, reminding me of the profound beauty and mystery that can be found in the heart of the jungle."
