We had a great trip. Tarik was our guide for the week. He was very friendly and helpful. He met us every morning at the appointed place and time. He was always kind and upbeat. There was never a worry about anything. We also enjoyed a gastronomic tour in Marrakech with Hanan. She and Tarik both seemed to be proud of their country and all it has to offer. We will always have happy memories of Morocco and of the time we spent with these two knowledgeable guides.

What an incredible trip! Our group of 6 family and friends had the best time in Morocco. First, when we starting booking this trip we were connected with Ali. He did a fantastic job creating the itinerary and answering all of our questions. Then Said was our emergency contact and while we didn’t need to interact much, it was always pleasant and professional. We were LUCKY enough to have two driver guides in Saadane and trainee Hamza. Saadane was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions during the trip and took our safety very seriously. Thank you brother! Hamza was always helping during the trip translating and buying roadside fruit and taking photos (have him take your photos!!!). We all agreed he will make a great guide! Chefchaouen was stunning and Saadane showed us some wonderful spots there. Then on to Fes. Our Riad was A+ and we spent a day with our local guide Mo Mo. He showed us all the historical spots and gave all the details. Then also brought us to all the best spots to shop! On to the desert! The Sahara is breathtakingly beautiful and the guide and experiences we had there I will never forget. Ride the camels and visit the Nomads. You won’t be disappointed. Ait Ben Haddou is a great pit stop on the way to Marrakesh. The Red City is another highlight and the energy in the Medina in undeniable. We got to experience both a walking and food tour with Hanan and it was such a treat to get to know her. She was so fun and I’m so grateful that we got to have deeper conversations on the second tour. She showed us all the great food stalls! Don’t leave Morocco without heading to the Hammam for a scrub! After 10 glorious days we had a tearful goodbye (maybe that was just me). Sending lots of love to our brothers Saadane and Hamza from MN and WI.

Desert Luxury Camp Erg Chebbi

One of the most fun experiences of my life. Driving the 4x4s out to the camp is super fun and the drivers have some fun with it on the dunes. Staff are very welcoming and accomodating. The food it great! Tents only have AC at night but that was fine as we were out partaking in all the fun activities. Music and fire at night is really special.

Morocco was always a country I wanted to visit but, didn’t know where to start planning for a trip to a country so full of amazing places to see. I didn’t want to do the same things most tourist do, and I didn’t want to go with all the tourist info. expecting to see every single thing others see. I wanted to have this feeling of visiting a country I knew nothing about and be amazed with everything I see. Ali from Original Travels helped me get exactly that. He designed a trip where I was able to experience a bit of many places and I can not be more grateful to him. Everything flowed so well, and our guide/driver Ayoub just made it perfect. He was knowledgeable, attentive and on time. I didn’t have many extra requests but he always reminded me to let him know if I needed to stop at a certain place or if I needed extra time to explore. He became a friend and will miss the jokes and the interesting conversations about his country and culture. Our accommodations were incredible and the food at family restaurants while traveling from one city to another was just so good! Every place I visited had an impression on me I will never forget. People in Morocco are one of the nicest and respectful people I’ve know and I will be back. Hope Original Travels is still around when it happens because my trip with them was simply perfect. We couldn’t have been happier with our trip from start to finish! We had flights booked but were getting stuck trying to decide where to go and what to see so about one week prior to departure I investigated KimKim and was immediately impressed with the service we received from their in-country travel professionals.
Ali did a fantastic job putting a credible itinerary into place, and Said nailed it down promptly so we knew exactly what to expect once we arrived.
I cannot say enough about the wonderful experience we had with our driver Oussama, throughout the trip. We always knew we were in safe hands throughout our journey, thanks to his warm, friendly, flexible yet very professional attitude. We were super impressed with the overall hospitality offered by the amazing three-brother team at Dar Rihana. Guests are welcomed with a delightful homemade orange/ginger/honey tissane that is one for the books ; accompanied by delicate home baked almond biscuits. The youngest brother is a talented chef so every meal is a sheer delight. Decor is modern and inviting. The views are spectacular and the surroundings peaceful. The brothers make every effort to assure guests are satisfied on so many levels. We were super impressed by our stay at Dar Rihana!

The Ksar Anika is in a wonderful location inside the Medina, close to the Bahia Palace in Marrakech. It was truly a calming sanctuary in stark opposition to the craziness of busy city life outside.

We adored the beautiful marble and intricate tile work as well as the tasteful and relaxing lobby furniture in the pool area and the wonderful huge chandelier that hangs in the center of the open garden zone.

Very attentive and accommodating. They even packed a free lunch for us, knowing that we were headed back to Casablanca to catch a plane. So very thoughtful overall.

This trek was one of the highlights of our trip, thanks to our friendly and knowledgeable guide Ismail. The sun shone brightly over this idyllic landscape. We felt like we were in paradise as we crossed babbling brooks and over bouldered paths. You’d never want to be out there without the guidance of a local guide familiar with the terrain! The lunch that we enjoyed, prepared by Ismail’s mother Toda (sp?) was both hearty and delicious. It’s so commendable how throughout the country, the locals were happy to cook for us and yet refrain from partaking in any of the food due to their fasting commitment during daylight hours as they observed Ramadan. This was a really delightful time that both my son and I really enjoyed. The renown Berber hospitality was second to none!!
