Authenticity

Artemis Seaside Resort dates back to 1985 but offers a modern take on traditional Cycladic architecture. There's no question where you are, thanks to whitewashed walls, bright natural light, dreamy blue hues, and a contemporary minimalist design that includes driftwood, feathers, and shells. You can also step outside and, within minutes, be on one of Milos' most beautiful beaches—the long, rainbow-colored stretch of Paliochori, where you can immerse yourself fully in the island's atmosphere.

Location

You'll find the resort in the quiet village of Paliochori, known for its long beach filled with colorful volcanic rocks, including a nudist portion. Most of Milos' sites are within a 20-25 minute drive, like the port of Adamas, the moonscape of Sarakiniko Beach, and Tsigrado Beach, which you can reach by climbing down a rope ladder. Rooms & Bathrooms

Rooms are bright and airy with an updated Cycladic style. White walls and natural light sources blend seamlessly with neutral tones and modern minimalist decor, complementing the landscape of rocks and sea. All rooms have a furnished patio or balcony, and some include hot tubs, mini pools, or private pools for extra relaxation. Views overlook the garden or sea, and family suites are available for larger parties.

Amenities

The hotel has an outdoor infinity pool and an adjacent pool bar. Shaded sunbeds are available both poolside and on the beach. There's also a pretty garden with tables and chairs in the interior courtyard. The hotel's spa offers massages; reservations are required. There's no fitness center available, but it's possible to go hiking in the area, and staff can help plan hikes. There are no elevators in the resort, making the second level inaccessible. 

Family-Friendliness

Children are welcome at the resort. Most rooms at the resort sleep two, and no additional beds are available, so families may need to consider booking multiple rooms. One child up to age three can stay for free per room, and cribs are available upon request. Strollers can easily navigate the bottom floor of the resort, but as there are no elevators, families may want to avoid rooms on the second floor. There's a shallow end in the infinity pool, ideal for children.

Other Highlights

Breakfast is included and is served either in-room or buffet-style. The beach bar, Aqua Loca, has a Greek/Mediterranean menu (and a full bar) and is open daily from 9 am to 12:30 am. It's located directly on the beach. Guests can order cocktails and snacks at the poolside bar. The main restaurant on-site is open from 7 pm to 11:30 pm; the open-air dining room allows guests to enjoy traditional Greek dishes paired with Greek wines.
