Overview
Boutique Hotel Cezanne has been a part of the city's history for over 100 years, giving it its authentic charm. Ideally situated near the city's ancient walls, you'll find yourself on the site of one of the first Roman cities in the Mediterranean basin. A 5-minute stroll will land you at the popular Cours Mirabeau. From there, you can easily explore Aix's rich heritage on foot—admiring the architecture of the Mazarin district, visiting the city's leading art center, or catching a show at the nearby Grand Théâtre de Provence.
The hotel's spacious guest rooms offer all the comfort of a large family home in the city. Each room has a cozy, inviting atmosphere, featuring a queen-sized bed and carefully selected materials in soft, Provençal colors. The hardwood furniture, thick cushions, and natural fabrics from Le Monde Sauvage, along with the delicate jute wall hangings, pay tribute to the forerunner of the Impressionist movement. If you're seeking more space or luxury, the hotel's superior and deluxe rooms offer king-size beds, additional original touches, and more spacious living areas. The Junior Suites, ideal for a romantic getaway or family break, offer large open spaces.
The Cezanne breakfast is served each morning in the dining room. Start your day with fresh juice, homemade sweet and savory pies, pastries, brioche, and artisanal charcuterie boards. You can also use the counter offering regional specialties throughout the day. To unwind, the hotel's terrace, built around a century-old plane tree, provides a peaceful spot to relax from breakfast until closing. For the whole Cezanne experience, visit the honesty bar, which stocks wine and spirits. Guests serve themselves and record what they consume during their stay.
