Part of the family-owned Greek Divani hotel group, the Divani Meteora Hotel occupies a four-story 1960s block that stands in stark contrast to the surrounding Meteora rock formations. This is a large hotel, popular with tour groups and families, and though you won't find much regional character among the neutral interiors, its friendly staff and sun-filled rooms and common areas give it an inviting feel. The location and the views are a main draw here: it's a perfect base for hiking trips to the valley's UNESCO-listed rock monasteries, and many rooms offer spectacular uninterrupted Meteora views.

Location

You'll find yourself just off a main thoroughfare at the eastern edge of Kalambaka, about a 10-minute walk from the local train station and most restaurants and shops. The UNESCO-listed monasteries and soaring rock formations of Meteora are easily reached by car within about 10 minutes, and trailheads for the region's extensive hiking routes are a 5-minute drive (or 20-minute walk). The neighboring village of Kastraki is a 10-minute drive or a 30 to 40-minute hike. There's plentiful free parking on-site, as well as an EV charging station.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The hotel's 160+ rooms feel spacious and comfortable, if somewhat old-fashioned, with a warm color palette, wood floors, and pale oak furnishings.
