Rosa Lara
I am the owner and founder of this small travel agency based in my birthplace, Córdoba (Southern Spain). I have a degree in translation and have several years of experience in export commerce so languages, sales, and traveling under my belt. I know how important is to take great care of customers, listen to their needs and preferences to be able to provide an excellent service which is why I always make sure that the personal assistance that I offer to every individual traveler from the very first contact is top-notch. I love my country and am proud to have the opportunity through my agency to share its rich history and culture, gastronomy, and its beautiful and diverse landscape. I personally inspect my entire network which is now part of what I like calling the “Just Explore team” from accommodations to tour guides and drivers. Once you’ve booked with Just Explore, you will be part of the family, part of this team that shares the same philosophy: authenticity and singularity. There are a lot of travel agencies out there offering very similar experiences and services but with our team, you will get THE experience, the one and only!

Because that perfect trip to Spain needs local knowledge"
How did you get involved in travel?
"I was born and raised in Montilla, a small town in the province of Córdoba. After getting my degree in languages at the University of Granada I worked for 14 years in international sales. During those years working for different companies, I had a recurrent dream: opening my own small boutique travel agency. I wanted to make travelers fall in love with Spain, offering bespoke experiences that will remain forever in their souls.
I was tired of seeing big groups of tourists being herded around under the merciless sun of Cordoba and felt that it was about time authentic travelers, who appreciate the quality time and true human connections, could have the opportunity to learn more about our culture and savor the magic taste of life in Spain. In 2013 I decided it was the right moment to follow my passion and Just Explore was born.
They say that home is where the heart is… and mine definitely belongs to Spain. I feel passion and love for what this magical country has to offer and I want to share this contagious feeling with you. I love meeting new people and getting to know them really well so that myself and my team can design the perfect trip for them. I believe that a personal touch is what makes the difference.
Over the years we have built a handpicked network of charming hotels and restaurants, impeccable transport services, compelling activities, and excellent local guides for the delight of our guests. We put our hearts and souls in planning and organizing each and every journey to the tiniest detail. We want you to feel at home, comfortable and zen, so you can just relax and explore our interesting culture and stunning hidden gems."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"One of our unique and most exclusive experiences is an evening patios tour and a sunset over the Great Mosque of Cordoba (Andalucia). Not many tourists get the chance to visit the courtyards of some private houses (Unesco Heritage listed) and to enjoy a nice glass of wine and a delicious Iberico ham and manchego cheese on a private terrace overlooking the impressive architecture of one most incredible sites ever built in a Western Muslim country. It truly takes my breath away!"
