Sara Skok
As someone who loves to travel and was fortunate enough to meet amazing, friendly, and welcoming people from all over the world I truly value the human factor of travel. Being in beautiful, picturesque locations is great but having someone who can show you the hidden local treasures and introduce you to the local way of life is what takes your travel experience to another level!
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Tailor-made tours: Sightseeing, Hot Air Balloon, Food & Wine, Heritage and Historical, Game of Thrones, Sailing. There is no greater excitement than working on an itinerary that involves a mix of adventure activities, historical sightseeing and appreciating the best of the region through food, wine, and local stories."
How did you get involved in travel?
"From a young age, I was interested in different cultures and especially different languages. During high school, we visited Greece and that’s when my traveling adventures started, we were welcomed by friendly locals who had a true passion for their country. In the following years as I visited other countries, I started to think about how great it would be if one day I was that someone who gets to share their own culture with others and be the bridge that connects them with all the amazing experiences Croatia has to offer. Luckily for me, I didn’t have to wait long, and I soon joined an amazing team of like-minded people eager to help you plan your next adventure! "
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I was travelling around Turkey with my friends and on our last evening in Istanbul we decided to sit at a local bar where they were playing live music. The atmosphere was great, and they started to play one song that was obviously a fan favorite among the locals. There was a group of people walking by and one girl from the group stopped and was so excited to hear the song. She started holding hands with her friends and dance, soon they were inside and people got up from their tables to join in on the dance. My friends and I joined in as well and it was a perfect ending to our amazing trip!"
