What places and activities do you specialize in?

"I specialize in cycling and wildlife watching tours in Alpe-Adria region. I organize various MTB and touring trips in Slovenia and Croatia (MTB tours are normally physically more demanding than touring options). Wildlife watching tours take place in the pristine Slovenian forests. However, working for a specialised local agency, I can offer tours customized according to your needs and desires. "

How did you get involved in travel?

"I developed a strong passion for travel already as a teenager, when I was finally old enough to start exploring foreign countries by myself. Soon trips to different parts of our beautiful world became my main study break activity and financial focus. To pay for my plane tickets, I started working in hospitality on the weekends. All this led to a realization that I should combine my personal love for travel with my work life and pursue a career in the tourism sector. I was thrilled when I received a confirmation of enrolment from an excellent Master's program in Tourism Management. Since then I was actively involved in several tourism-related projects and currently I'm working for an amazing travel agency Visit Goodplace, which is located in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I feel extremely lucky to have found my dream job, where I can organize trips around my home country and the surroundings for like-minded adventurists. I truly believe Alpe-Adria region has so much to offer to nature-lovers of all sorts and it makes me happy to share the best of it with the world. "

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"One of very memorable travel experience that first comes to mind happened several years ago in Guatemala. I spontaneously decided to join some people I met at the hostel on a 2 day trek to the volcano Acatenango . Without any prior knowledge about the trek, I was quite surprised to find myself on one of the most difficult ascents I have ever done. But step by step I made it to the top, surrounded by backpackers from all over the world who were struggeling as well. What waited for us at the base for the night (just under the top) was more than incredible - the view of errupting volcano Fuego near by together with the magical colours of the evening sky. The sight took our (already short) breaths away. It is interesting how experiencing such wonders of nature together can bring people even closer together. The local guide full of knowledge about the local flora and fauna made the experience even more unforgettable. "
