By Taxi
Duration: 45 minutes - 1 hour
Your hotel can call you a taxi to take you from Marrakech to Amizmiz. If a taxi is arranged to pick you up from your hotel, the driver will simply arrive and take you straight to Amizmiz, with a total travel time of one hour or less, depending on traffic. The driver can wait in Amizmiz, and take you back to Marrakech at an agreed-upon time.
If you would like to get your own taxi without the assistance of a hotel concierge, an additional step is required. Travelers will first need to take a "petit taxi" (which can hold a maximum of three passengers) to a specific taxi stand where "grand taxis" wait for passengers. You can simply tell the petit taxi driver you are going to Amizmiz, and need a grand taxi. "Grand taxis" (which can hold up to six passengers) take travelers to locations outside of Marrakech proper. It is important to note that some grand taxi drivers will make you wait until all six seats in the taxi are full before they will take you on your journey to Amizmiz.
