Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Whitehorse
Welcome to Whitehorse! Transfer to your hotel located in the heart of the city on the banks of the Yukon River. Whitehorse is small and easy to explore on foot. In the evening, after settling in, head out to the AuroraCentre to see the northern lights.
Day 2: Hot springs, wildlife, and a birds-eye view
Start your day with a spectacular sightseeing flight above the frozen landscape. During the 20-minute flight, you will enjoy views of the Yukon that few people ever get to see. Afterward, head back to Whitehorse to explore the city's history and sights, like the historic SS Klondike and a skyscraper made from logs. Later, drive to the Yukon Wildlife Preserve to see local wildlife, like elk, moose, caribou, mountain goats, and porcupines.
After being out in the cold all day, relax and enjoy the soothing hot water and spectacular winter views at Takhini Hot springs. Following your soak, it's time to enjoy a dinner in Whitehorse, head back out to see the northern lights from a comfortable seat around a warm fire.

Day 3: Dog Sledding and Northern Lights
Start your day with a safety briefing and history lesson on the old traditions of dog sledding, then head out along the frozen winter paths. Sit back and enjoy the warm blankets and comfortable sled and let the dogs carry you through the cold air. It's a once-in-a-lifetime experience to feel the power and endurance of the sled dogs and hear the creaking snow underneath the sled runners.
After your trip out, reward yourself with a beer from the famous Yukon Brewery at one of several downtown restaurants. After dinner, set back out to the AuroraCentre to see the northern lights again.
Day 4: Snowmobiling through the Yukon
After a hearty breakfast, take a scenic drive out into the mountains near Whitehorse. You will spend the day exploring the incredible winter scenery of the Yukon. Soak up the views of the surrounding snow-covered mountains and frozen lakes. Choose to race up and down steep mountain trails or take a relaxing ride through the thick forest and down winding historic trails.
Day 5: Depart Whitehorse
You'll have time for one last walk around town this morning before transferring to the airport for your departing flight.
