Day 3: Hiking in Velika Planina Meadow
Pick up your rental car in the morning and drive for an hour and a half to the Kamnik-Savinja Alps, just north of Ljubljana. Go on a gentle 4-hour hike across the beautiful Velika Planina Meadow and admire the traditional shepherd architecture. In the afternoon, continue to the spectacular Logar Valley, where you will spend the night.
Day 4: Fly Fishing and Hiking in the Logar Valley
Enjoy a full day of fishing on nearby Savinja River with an expert fly fishing guide. Keep an eye out for Danube salmon, rainbow trout, brown trout, and grayling. Afterward, you will have some free time to explore the Logar Valley on foot.

Lake Bohinj is located in Triglav National Park. This unique glacial lake and its surroundings deserve plenty of time to explore. Choose from several hiking options of varying difficulty, according to the weather and your wishes.
Chat with a local specialist who can help organize your trip.
Day 7: Fly Fishing and Hiking in Lake Bohinj
A fly fishing guide will pick you up from your hotel and take you for a full day of fishing on the nearby Sava Bohinjka River. You'll have another opportunity to fish for rainbow trout, brown trout, grayling, and see the endangered Danube salmon. You can also take advantage of some easy hikes directly from your hotel doorstep.
Day 8: Explore Lake Bled
Explore spectacular Lake Bled and its surroundings less than an hour's drive away. You can rent bikes and cycle through idyllic Slovenian countryside, go on short hikes to viewpoints and gorges, visit the island in the middle of the lake, and much more. Return to Bohinj in the afternoon.
Day 9: Julian Alps and Vrsic Pass
Drive two hours across the stunning Vrsic Pass at 5,285 feet in the central Julian Alps. Enjoy the dramatic mountain scenery along this winding road and admire the nearby limestone walls. You can do several short (or long) hikes on your way to the Soca Valley. You'll be able to choose from different hiking options.
Day 10: Fly Fishing and Hiking in the Soca Valley
The Soca Valley is home to the emerald green Soca river and the famous marble trout. There are lots of options for first class fly fishing and beautiful hikes in the area. A fly fishing guide will pick you up and take you for a full day of fishing on one of the nearby rivers or streams.
