What you'll do
The Camp Nou Stadium, located in the Les Corts district of Barcelona, is the home of FC Barcelona, one of the world's most iconic and successful football clubs. With a seating capacity of over 99,000, it's the largest stadium in Europe and the site of many historic moments in football (soccer) history. The tour starts with visiting various parts of the stadium, including the changing rooms, the tunnel leading out to the pitch, and the press room.
The changing rooms are where the players prepare for matches, and you can see where your favorite players hang their jerseys and store their equipment. The tunnel leading out to the pitch is also a highlight of the tour, as you can imagine what it's like to walk out onto the field in front of tens of thousands of cheering fans. The press room, where players and coaches interview after matches, is also open, providing a unique behind-the-scenes look at the world of professional football.
In addition to these areas, you'll also walk out onto the pitch and take in the stunning view of the stadium from the center of the field. Enjoy feeling the excitement and energy of the stadium up close while listening to your guide detail insider knowledge and unique local tidbits about the club's history and construction.
The visit ends in the FC Barcelona Museum, home to a vast collection of memorabilia and artifacts from the club's illustrious history. You can view trophies, jerseys, and other items that showcase the club's achievements over the years. The museum also features interactive displays to help you learn more about the club's history and the players who have made it successful.
Overall, a Camp Nou Stadium and FC Barcelona Museum visit is a must for anyone interested in football or sports history. The experience provides an unforgettable behind-the-scenes look at one of the world's most iconic stadiums and the chance to immerse yourself in the past and culture of one of the most successful football clubs in the world.
