Embroidery Workshop in a Cooperative near Ouarzazate, Ouarzazate

Near the Fint Oasis (a scenic stretch of river valley lined with palm trees) is a cooperative that produces weaved goods. In this particular cooperative, the workers mostly make table cloths, where men weave the fabric and women embroider by hand in the traditional Berber style. This heritage technique uses yellow, red, blue, and other bright and warm colors to create geometrical patterns, typically without any templates.
