What you'll do
As you walk through Girona, you'll learn about two histories: the city's real 2,000-year-old past and that of the fictional cities in the Game of Thrones. Some highlights include areas that became Braavos and King's Landing, plus the streets that follow the steps of Arya Stark and Jaime Lannister. Your guide will carry a tablet to see precisely how the locations in Girona compare to the show and rewatch some of the scenes shot in the city.
Your starting point is Plaça Sant Feliu, and from there, you'll visit the scenic Plaça dels Jurats and Monestery de Sant Pere de Galligans. Your guide will help you understand the significance of these sites and areas of the city, both in Girona's history and that of the TV show. Next, you'll walk down the Paseo Arqueológico, one of the most picturesque areas of the city, with ancient buildings, old cobbled streets and staircases, parks, archeological ruins, and more.
One of the most important parts of the city's archeological area is the Old Walls of Girona, which you can climb and walk across. The walls offer a unique look into Girona's medieval history, and your guide will show you how the Game of Thrones utilized this landmark. You'll also enjoy incredible panoramic views from the top. The walls end at the other end of the city, so you'll make your way back through the Old Town.
Other sites from the show you'll see along your walk include the Arab Baths, steps to the Girona Cathedral, and charming streets like the Carrer de Bisbe Josep Cartañà, Carrer de Sant Llorenç, and Pujada de Sant Domènec. Remember, your guide will have a tablet ready to show you how the Game of Thrones used these sites in the filming. But, of course, Girona itself inspired the scenes, so your guide will show you even more of the city. Other sites include the French and German Gardens, additional landmarks in the Jewish Quarter, the Eiffel Bridge, Plaça Independencia, and more.

Private: Dali Triangle and Cadaqués Day Trip
The Dalí Theatre-Museum is regarded as the world's largest surrealist museum. Inaugurated in 1974, it rises on the remains of the former Municipal Theatre of Figueres, considered to be the last great work of Salvador Dalí. Everything in it was conceived and designed by the artist so as to offer visitors a real experience and draw them into his unique and captivating world.
Portlligat is a small, isolated fisherman's hut, with an astonishing landscape. The House-Museum in Portlligat was Salvador Dalí's only place of residence, where he lived and worked until 1982. Dalí spent 40 years building his perfect home, resulting in a labyrinthine structure, which spreads out in a succession of spaces linked by narrow corridors, slight level changes and blind passageways. The different spaces are decorated with carpets, whitewash, dried flowers, velvet upholstery, antique furniture, etc, belonging to the artist. Furthermore, all the rooms have windows of different shapes and proportions, framing a landscape which is a constant point of reference in Dalí's work: the Portlligat bay.
After Gala's death, Dalí moved to the Púbol Castle. At the Gala-Dalí Castle of Púbol, open to the public since 1996, visitors can discover the medieval building in which Gala infuses Salvador Dalí's creativity right down to the finest details, and whose goal was to provide Gala with a quiet and secluded place.
Tickets of Theatre-Museum Dalí in Figueres, Dalí House in PortLligat and Gala Dalí Castle of Pubol, lunch and extra drinks NOT included.
