Overview

Explore the beautiful island of Santorini on foot, taking in some of the most stunning views as you wander from Fira to Oia. The path you'll follow is medium in difficulty due to a few uphills and covers about 6 miles (10 km). This trek takes you along a mix of paved streets and dirt trails, passing through the towns of Imerovigli, Firostefani, and Fira.

What you'll do

You'll start by meeting your guide and kick off your day morning with a tour of Fira, the island's capital, located on an impressively steep cliff. Here you'll have some time to stroll around charming streets and admire the classic Cycladic architecture.

Continue walking towards the beautiful northern part of the island with your knowledgeable guide and explore traditional villages, including Firostefani and Imerovigli. You'll see many blue-domed churches and white-washed houses throughout the way, so you'll have the opportunity to take plenty of photos. 

Your guide will share the fascinating history of Santorini with you, from its ancient volcanic eruption to its current local lifestyle, as you take in stunning sights such as wildflowers, impressive cliffs, and the glittering Aegean Sea.

You will finish your hike by reaching the Castle of Oia. With incomparable views out onto the horizon and traditional Santorini houses, it offers a perfect way to end your day.
