What you'll do

The adventure begins at the Naxos marina, where you'll board one of the elegant catamarans, like Danae or Rena, and meet the friendly crew and fellow sunseekers. As the sails catch the breeze and you glide across the crystal blue waters, you'll have the opportunity to soak up the sun on spacious, mesh-like trampolines, or find shade while taking in the pretty seascapes.

The catamaran will anchor at select locations, where you can swim and snorkel in secluded, picturesque coves and bays. The first stop might be on the east side of Paros to explore the marine life that's made the Marianna shipwreck its home or other equally enchanting locations, like swimming to a beach for mud bathing, using the available natural clay for its mineral benefits. In between the fun, you'll sit to a spread of traditional Greek dishes prepared with the freshest local ingredients and paired with a selection of cold refreshments, beer, wine, rakı, and ouzo.

Then, as the full-day cruise draws to a close, you'll return to Naxos Marina, sunkissed and salty.

The catamaran trip was super! Anna, our captain made sure everyone was well taken care of. She explained where we were going, how long each section would take, and some history of what we were seeing. We were fed 3 different times on the boat, and were able to swim at 2 different spots. She was very professional, but also made the trip fun for everyone! Read more

I'm a kimkim staff member, and I was on a work trip when I experienced this sailing activity:
Despite the weather cutting the swimming stops down from three to two, the experience was still lovely. The first stop was on the east side of Paros, where we swam to a local beach. The skippers pointed out a rock that turns into clay with supposed mineral benefits for the skin, which was a fun touch. The second stop was at Kalipso Bay in Naxos, where a ship sank in 1962. Tips for future travelers

The seas can get bumpy, so take non-drowsy Dramamine if you tend to get seasick!
