What you'll do

Your e-bike adventure starts with a pick-up at your hotel and a short transfer toward Santorini's southern coast, where you'll meet your guide and the rest of your small group. Grab your helmet and get to grips with your comfortable electric mountain bike, then set off to explore some of the lesser-seen parts of the island. Start by pedaling along the black-sand beaches of Perívolos and Perissa, and continue north to discover the ruins of Thera. This 11th-century BCE settlement is perched atop the limestone peak of Mesa Vouno, and your guide will share stories of its Hellenistic, Roman, and Byzantine past.

Turn inland next to glimpse some of the island's countryside and spend some time in the charming village of Emporio, nestled at the base of Profitis Ilias mountain. Follow your guide through medieval alleys lined with whitewashed, blue-domed churches and traditional tavernas, and admire the 15th-century Venetian castle and the square Tower of Nimborio.  Follow picturesque wine roads to reach the island's western coast, and pause in Megalochori. Considered one of Santorini's prettiest villages, this car-free spot with stunning coastal views is the perfect spot to rest your legs and refuel with a snack.

Your next stop is a quaint cave chapel with breathtaking views over the island's caldera—where you'll grab some photos against the dramatic backdrop. Then it's time to loop south again with a leisurely cycle to the secluded Vlyhada Beach. Often referred to as one of Santorini's hidden treasures, this stretch of dark volcanic sand and pebbles sits at the foot of soaring limestone cliffs, and its waters are shallow and perfect for a quick swim. Take some time to relax and reflect on the day's discoveries before finishing your ride and transferring back to your hotel.
