• Like most cliffside hotels in Santorini, this one is not appropriate for those with mobility issues but guests can take advantage of its free porter service to help with bags.
• The hotel doesn't have facilities like a restaurant, spa, or pool, but it's great for those looking for something more simple and autonomous.

Authenticity

While the seven cave rooms maintain the structure of these former homes and even feature elements of volcanic rock poking through the wall, the hotel makes a subtle but effective departure from the traditional cave aesthetic. Where most hotels opt for whitewashed walls and an Aegean blue trim, the Aris Caves goes for a sky blue instead, which opens up these spaces to create something that's both distinct and recognizably Santorini.

Location

Guests can enjoy the hotel's central location in Oia, as the village's famed sights like the castle are just 10 minutes away, while the Blue Domed Church is just next door. The Red Beach and black beach of Perissa are both 40 minutes away by car. Those looking for closer beach access can drive to Ammoudi in just five minutes or take a leisurely stroll down there in 25.
