Overview
Hotel Belvedere di San Leonino, nestled in the picturesque Chianti Hills, is a testament to Tuscany's rich history and timeless charm. Established by the Falassi and Orlandi families, who have resided in the Chianti Classico area for centuries, this hotel is rooted in two original sharecropping farmhouses from the 1400s. The hotel's location offers a balance of tranquility and accessibility. Surrounded by its vineyards, it stands in the open countryside, but it's also close to the art towns of Siena, Florence, Pisa, Arezzo, Perugia, and the pristine Tyrrhenian Coast.
The rooms at Hotel Belvedere di San Leonino exude a cozy and comfortable atmosphere. Each room has a distinct Tuscan country-style charm, with open-beam ceilings, terracotta floors, antique furniture, and wrought iron beds. Room types range from Basement to Superior Exclusive, featuring a "Relaxation Set," tea-coffee set, and complimentary olive oil toiletries. Some upgraded rooms also offer sweeping views of the surrounding countryside.
Hotel Belvedere di San Leonino offers a range of amenities, including an exclusive restaurant, Il Cortile, which serves traditional Tuscan food accompanied by wines from the estate. In the summer, you can dine under the stars, enjoying the view of San Gimignano and captivating sunsets. During the day, relax by the pool and soak in the panoramic views of vineyards and hills sloping gently toward Siena and Monteriggioni. For a nice getaway, the hotel's gardens provide a quiet space to read or rest, overlooking the vineyards and under the shade of fig or almond trees.
