Only one night here but wish it were more. Property was cute and quaint in a good neighborhood.
Overview
Casa Jacinta is in the heart of the historic colonial neighborhood of Coyoacán, home to renowned artists and intellectuals such as Frida Kahlo and Octavio Paz. Surrounded by history and culture, you'll be steps away from restaurants, cafés, bars, theaters, bookstores, popular markets, and Mexican handicrafts. Walkable attractions include the National Museum of Popular Culture, the Frida Kahlo Museum, and the extensive park, Viveros de Coyoacán. The neighborhood will certainly keep you busy, but getting to the Historic Center of Mexico City takes time. Plan for a 30-minute taxi or about 50 minutes via public transport.
The beautiful colonial house offers 10 comfortable rooms, each filled with light, art, and classic furniture. Rooms feature a private bathroom, cable TV, free WiFi, and king or double beds. Enjoy historical details like tile flooring, antique furniture, and exposed brick. Some rooms even have balconies or terraces; family rooms can accommodate up to five guests.
Casa Jacinta Guest House is dedicated to sustainability and supporting local art. Relax in pleasant common spaces, such as the living room and a garden, where you can enjoy coffee and tea. A daily continental breakfast offers traditional Mexican dishes freshly prepared in the kitchen.
