Overview
Manoir Les Minimes, located in the Châteaux de la Loire area, is a renovated historical property offering unobstructed views of the Château Royal and the Loire River. Nestled in the old neighborhood of Amboise, Manoir Les Minimes was initially built as a convert in 1493. While it's been renovated throughout the centuries, the now-hotel still offers preserved architectural components in some parts of the building, giving you an idea of what it would have been like to experience it centuries ago. The hotel is nine minutes from L'Ile d'Or, an island on the Loire River offering greenery and views of Amboise, and seven minutes from the popular Château Royal d'Amboise. Along your way to Château Royal d'Amboise, you'll walk past the Tomb of Leonardo da Vinci, another attraction worth seeing.
Manoir Les Minimes features just under 15 rooms and two suites across two sections: the Manor and the Pavilion. The Manor rooms offer views of the Château Royal d'Amboise or the Loire River. Rooms are modern and minimalist, with pops of color to liven up the space. The Prestige Room, for instance, offers options with white walls and bedding or white and blue wallpaper with matching linens. The Manor Deluxe provides a cozy ambience with exposed wooden beams in attic-styled rooms. The careful selection of colors, in combination with wooden flooring and white marble baths, make the rooms modern and inviting. The Pavilion rooms have a similar setting with a little more of a Bohemian feel. They're light, bright, earthy, and spacious, with separate living spaces and bedrooms for added comfort and convenience.
Start your day with breakfast in the dining room with terrace and garden views and a selection of hot and cold beverages, seasonal fruits, and typical breakfast staples such as pastries, jams, and eggs. Whenever you're hungry, you can also visit the hotel's shop, a boutique area with local groceries and wines. The hotel's bar is also open and ready to serve drinks throughout the day, and for a more relaxing time, the lounge and library provide an ideal setting. The property also offers bicycle storage and private car parking, accessible whenever you need.
