Maslina Resort, Hvar
Luxurious and eco-friendly oasis with chic rooms, private villas, gourmet dining, a spa, and incredible sea views
Overview
Maslina Resort on Hvar Island, born from a team of individuals passionate about luxury hospitality and authenticity, offers you an experience the owners call "Mindful Luxury." This concept combines personal service, an exceptional location, environmental respect, and a chic yet welcoming interior design. The resort's architecture integrates seamlessly with the island environment—think low-intrusive buildings with wooden facades, nestled among reforested trees and native species. As for location, you'll be off a quieter road overlooking the sea just two minutes from the ferry port and a 6-minute drive from the center of Stari Grad.
The resort has just over 50 rooms, suites, and villas, all offering an immersive experience in Mediterranean simplicity and French art style. Each room delivers sea views (some nearly panoramic), total privacy, and absolute comfort. The interiors are adorned with natural materials and local touches like terracotta, Brac island stone, and brushed brass. All are equipped with organic amenities created with local essential oils. Depending on your needs, you can choose from options like the spacious Garden Room with its beautiful garden views or the Pool Suite offering refreshing views of the Adriatic Coast from your private plunge pool.
The resort provides a culinary experience that embraces the UNESCO-protected Mediterranean Diet but adds a contemporary flair. Their restaurant focuses on ingredients harvested from its nearly 2-acre (7,000-sqm) Organic Garden, offering daily a la carte dishes with tasting menu options. For relaxation, the Pharomatiq Wellness Center presents a range of wellness services, including various forms of yoga, meditation, and fitness classes. The Playroom provides educational programs for the youngest guests, and the Gallery exhibits selected local handicrafts and international art pieces. Whether you're sipping craft cocktails at the bar, savoring the exceptional cuisine at the restaurant, or relaxing by one of the two heated pools, Maslina Resort is an experience of mindful luxury at its best.
