This was one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at on our trip in Morocco. The mosaic tile work here in every room was a wonder. This was one of the most beautiful hotels we stayed at on our trip in Morocco. The mosaic tile work here in every room was a wonder. Despite its stunning aesthetics, the service at the hotel could be improved. Although the front desk staff does speak English, they still were not fluent, and so at times had a difficult time communicating with the team. This surprised us as this was one of the most fancy hotels we stayed at and we didn't have a problem communicating with hotel staff in all the other riads we've stayed at on our trip.

We also decided to experience the Hammam in the spa here, to which unfortunately I would say to skip. I think the experience is overpriced here for what it is. Save it to try somewhere else. Despite what we paid for, both my Hammam and massage felt very rushed.

Location
Great location but a little isolated as walking to the medina was difficult from this hotel.

Very, well, palatial! Way above our "pay grade" but a special experience (probably for that reason). Our suite (and it was a suite with multiple rooms, two bathrooms, several sitting areas, and a walk-in closet) was spectacular. It opened out directly adjacent to the pool area.

Authenticity & Character
Very exotic and elegant. We tend to gravitate to more modest (but clean and comfortable) lodgings, so this was a special treat.
Location
It is located on the edge (in the wall) of the medina. We did not walk down into the touristy part of the medina from the hotel, but probably could have.
Staff
Very helpful. I had come down with a bronchial irritation (mostly coughing and a hoarse voice). They were very helpful in suggesting remedies and a nearby pharmacy.
Cleanliness & Comfort
The suite we stayed in is probably the most opulent we've ever experienced.

The best of the best!! Loved this experience. The hotel upgraded our room at their own will without asking because the highest end suite was available. It was large, well appointed and bar none the most special hotel we’ve ever stayed in. The fact that this was one families private residence that had been converted to a hotel was interesting. We loved reading about the hotel and the renovation process. The Raman was spectacular, the restaurant fancy and the staff a 10!! We spent NYE here and... Read more
