Pros

• Get your sun and sea within minutes thanks to the location that’s just a few blocks from the water.
• Take a dip in one of the two pools and enjoy a snack or drink by the pool bar.
• All of the rooms have kitchens except for the studios, so guests can settle in more comfortably.

Cons

• There’s no elevator to get to higher rooms and the hotel is built on a hill, so be sure to book a lower level one if you have mobility issues. Overall, the hotel is not recommended for those in wheelchairs or with serious mobility needs.
• While there is a pool bar with snacks and drinks, there’s no proper restaurant or bar on site but there is a variety of places just a few minutes away by foot.
• The property is not secluded but rather is in the middle of this residential village, so guests may be startled by the group of dogs next door that bark every time you walk by, but can also see that as part of the location's charm.

Authenticity

While the hotel itself isn’t particularly geared towards the authentic Cretan experience, its location in the village of Agia Pelagia and proximity to the sea add that Greek element to it. Feel the island breeze, smell the fragrant trees, and listen to the sounds of life in the village either from the privacy of the hotel’s pool or by stepping outside and exploring the village and beaches.

Location

Nestled just a block away from the beach of Agia Pelagia, Seascape Luxury Residences has an ideal location for anyone who wants easy access to the beach and village. Guests can find all that they need in the village of Agia Pelagia, as there is a supermarket down the street from the hotel, as well as a pharmacy and various restaurants and cafés. Reach both Heraklion and its airport in 30 minutes by car and the Palace of Knossos in 35.

Rooms & Bathrooms

The 33 rooms are mostly geared for people to spread out and feel comfortable, as all of the options except for studios have kitchens and outdoor space like a balcony or garden. Balconies overlook either the pool or the sea. Families or groups can check out the two bedroom deluxe apartments, which can comfortably sleep four but accommodate six with sofa beds. Studios are available for shorter stays of three days or less, while the higher options have a three-day minimum.
