Our Greek trip with our 14 year old granddaughter was extraordinary thanks to Afroditi’s careful planning and exceptional care with arrangements! We are all thrilled! Each of the lovely boutique hotels were perfectly located and progressively more luxurious! We especially loved the one in Heraklion with its little spa and amazing service. We were so impressed with the pickup and drop off service! Afroditi sent us knowledgeable, English speaking drivers who stood waiting for us at every location. The walking tours were wonderful. We really enjoyed the Agora and the major sites of Athens, and of course the amazing Acropolis, the day trip to Delphi was moving, the museum and the ruins in Knossos with their emphasis on the myths and their comparison to historic findings enlightening. All were very well done!!! Mykonos was beautiful and even in April our granddaughter was able to use the pool and swim in the ocean. Our night and final day in Chania provided the perfect end with its stunning sea side promenade and shops. Our final experience -the drive up the mountains to a traditional Crete cooking class where we feed our hosts sheep and made fresh herb and cheese pies and stuffed vegetables with produce from her garden following ancient recipes. She arranged for us to work at a table outside gazing at the snow capped peaks, surrounded by spring flowers , and sipping local wine! A perfect holiday!

Historically, my wife and I have always researched, planned and managed international trips, thinking this option gave us more flexibility and control over our vacation schedule and activities. Thus, we were skeptical contacting KimKim, but we are 100% glad we did. Absolutely everything about the trip was perfect: the accommodations, the excursions, the travel arrangements and the service. Everything! Afroditi was attentive and responsive to all our crazy questions in advance of traveling to Greece and was available to us, when needed, while we were there. She knows travel and she knows how to treat customers very well. I would recommend Afroditi to anyone seeking expert travel planning. She crafts very memorable trips based on customer input and feedback and her knowledge of an area. My wife and I are very grateful to Afroditi and KimKim for making our 40th-anniversary trip to Greece an incredible adventure.

Just returned from an amazing trip to Greece, organized through Kimkim with assistance from Eleni and Afroditi. The team put together a wonderful itinerary customized to our interests. Everything on our itinerary was wonderful, and all of the logistics were smooth, making the trip so much easier and less stressful than if we arranged everything ourselves. The accomodations were beautiful, too..., like the hotel in Santorini with the infiniti pool looking out into the Aegean, or the boutique hotel in Chania in a historical old buiding... every accommodation was exceptional.

In particular, the service from Afroditi was beyond amazing. We ended up experiencing some bad luck on our trip, with a heat wave so intense that major tourist attractions were closed mid-day due to safety concerns, along with our daughter getting sick. Afroditi was so responsive in real time providing us with alternatives (like extra beach days to get out of the heat). Additionally, at one point we boarded the WRONG FERRY which took us to the wrong island. This was completely our fault by the way, the logistics and instructions from the team at Kimkim were spot on... While we were stuck on the wrong ferry, Afroditi made alternate arrangements so we had transportation and accommodations when we arrived, along with transportation back to the correct island so we could resume our itinerary. Since we had no wifi on the ferry, I don't know what we would have done without Afroditi's help in that situation. It was so incredibly reassuring to know that when something went wrong, that we had an expert and an advocate there ready to help us out!

I absolutely would not hesitate to use Kimkim again for any and all future trips. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Afroditi and her team made our first trip to Greece a trip of a lifetime! She was accommodating, thoughtful and detailed. We wanted a trip that would keep our 2 boys, ages 8 and 11 engaged while bringing their passion of Greek Mythology to life. She curated the perfect itinerary across Athens (Acropolis/Delphi), Santorini (Lost Atlantis, Akrotiri) and Crete for us. We got the perfect balance of rest and relaxation with adventure. Despite the really hot days, the hospitality of everyone we came into contact with, our tour guides Anastasia, Penny and Sara, we fell in love with this vibrant and spirited country! We will be back for the Cyclades and much more time on Crete!

If you or your kids have any interest in Greek Mythology or history, this is a must see. It is one of the top 3 historic sites in Greece and really gives you a perspective into the incredible ingenuity and skill 3,000 years ago. Delphi is truly a wonder of the world and the guides provide you with the historical and philosophical significance of this place.

We had such an amazing time, thanks to kimkim! They handled the logistics beautifully, so we could truly enjoy our time in Greece. All of the hotels, transportation, and tours they recommended were great. We will definitely be using kimkim again for future travel!

Not even sure where to start. The entire Kimkim process was easy from start to finish. The tours set up for us in Greece were top notch, and we will never forget the kindness of our local drivers and guides. We could never have planned this our own. It’s not to say the trip wasn’t without hiccups; luckily, Afroditi helped us when we needed when we missed flights and needed other adjustments along the way.

This was the trip of a lifetime. There were 6 adults and a 4 year old. I told Eleli when we were planning it out I wanted to see the important parts of Greece of the places we were going to as well as free time to explore on our own and to throw in some beaches. She hit it out of the ballpark!

We arrived in Athens around lunch time to the Pan Hotel which is in the heart of Athens, walking distance from Plaka as well as Stygmata Square. The Hotel staff was super friendly and helpful. Across the street is the best Organic Ice Cream shop. We might have had ice cream 3 or 4 times. That evening we went on a wine tour to 3 bars and a food truck type restaurant. The tour guide was Panos and he was from Athens and even told the 20 somethings of the group where to head out later.

The next day was a tour of the Acropolis and Athens Mythology Tour. The day was a rainy one and it was still an excellent tour. ( Eleni had transporation to everything. We never had to worry about getting somewhere or getting back to the hotel. All of that was taken care of.) The guide, was extremely knowledgable and wasn't detered by the rain. Many good photographs on this tour.

The next day we cought a bus to Delphi to tour a museum and see Temple to Apollo and other archaelogical sites. The views on the drive were breathtaking of the sea and the little town near Delphi. We ate at a restaurant and were treated especially well with great photographs of the view as well as the excellent food. The driver picked the restaurant (after we persuaded him to) and it was fantastic.

Day 4 we toured the monistaries in Meteora. This was one of my favorite parts of the trip. The views were breathtaking, and the tour of how the monistaries came to be on the top of these cliffs and rock formations was very informatitive. I have to mention the bus driver, named Stiros. He was hilarious and fancied himself a photographer. He would find out of the way places for us to take photographs with teh beautiful scenery behind us. After we headed back to Athens and the Pan Hotel.

Day 5 we went on a high speed ferry to Mykonos. Our hotel, the Vencia, was right above the "Old Town" that everyone photographs. The rooms were beautiful and the Infinity Pool was where we spent that afteroon. From the pool, you could see the Old Town and the water. The wait staff at the hotel were the best of all the hotels we stayed at. They were so helpful and respectful the entire time we were there. That afternoon, we went to visit Delos, another Archaelogical site which is the birthplace of Apollo and Artemis. The tour guide for this voyage was a archeologist and had a different spin from the others we could hear on their tours. She was so knowledgeable and enjoyable to listen to.

Day 6 We had a free beach day and spent the day on Agios Sostis. Sitting in the sun, with an umbrella on a beach chair, drinking Pina Coladas, was the perfect relaxing day we needed.

Day 7 We spent in Naxos. We stayed at the Melidron hotel which is walking distance from the Agios Prokopios Beach. The first day, in the evening we toured a castle which is in the heart of Old Town. She took us first to the Portara, a gigantic door that you first see when you arrive on the island. We took many photographs here. We walked and toured the castle and stopped for some Kitro samples. This liqour is only sold on Naxos, is what we were told.

Day 8 We booked a Naxion Cooking experience, which is my second favorite thing we booked. We first went to Eggares and toured an olive press and learned many things about how they create olive oil. We were warned to eat a light breakfast as there were many samples here. Did you know there is chocolate olive oil? There is olive oil cake and olive oil bread. Wow. Then we immediately headed to Galini to Mrs. Voula and were taken back to make a traditional Greek meal. Her and her daughter made the time we had here so fun and informative. We learned how to make homemade meatballs, tzatiki, and stuffed vegetables. All of the vegetables, herbs, cheese and jellies we were served were all made by Mrs Voula, her husband, daughter or grown by her son. Excellent food. Excellent tour.

Day 9 was another beach day with no tours. Another day of beach chairs, embrellas and pina coladas.

Day 10 was a flight from Naxos to Athens to prepare for home.

Eleni and Afroditi planned the trip very thoroughly for us. Everything that they planned was on time, as described, and just what we wanted. The hotels were all wonderful. All of our guides were organized, knowledgeable, and fun. All of our drivers were helpful and on time. The recommendations we followed on our own were great too. We were given a full itinerary, and in addition a bunch of helpful information about the culture, logistics, and some helpful Greek phrases. Couldn’t have asked for a better travel planner.
