Imane Ouriche
I'm Imane, a travel specialist from Agadir, Morocco. Growing up here has given me a deep understanding of the local customs and traditions. I love sharing authentic and unique experiences with travelers, allowing them to truly immerse themselves in Morocco's vibrant culture and warm hospitality.
I pay close attention to detail when creating itineraries, considering the different needs of each traveler. I take care of everything, from transportation and accommodation to organizing cultural activities and food adventures. I want to make sure every traveler has a comfortable, enriching, and hassle-free journey.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"Our key specialties lie in exploring the magnificent Atlas Mountains, offering visits to historical sites that showcase Morocco's rich cultural heritage; from the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis to the medieval medinas of Fes and Marrakech. A highlight of our tours is the enchanting Sahara desert experience. We organize camel rides and 4WD tours that allow travelers to traverse the mesmerizing sand dunes, witness breathtaking sunsets, and spend magical nights under the starry desert sky. And of course Morocco's coastal cities, such as Casablanca, Essaouira, and Tangier, which offer a unique blend of old-world charm and modern vibes."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I started my tourism journey by chance when I met a group of international students visiting Morocco during a cultural exchange program. As an English studies student, I happily shared my knowledge of Moroccan history, traditions, and famous places with them. Guiding them through the bustling markets, captivating old cities, and breathtaking landscapes of Morocco was an amazing experience. Seeing their excitement and fascination made me realize that my true passion is to promote the beauty and richness of Morocco to people from around the world.
To gain practical experience, I interned at local travel agencies where I learned how to create special travel plans and provide excellent service to tourists."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I had an amazing travel experience that had a big impact on me. It all started when I got the chance to join a group of excited travelers on a tour across the country. It was my first time working in the tourism industry in Morocco.
What made this journey really special was having a female driver. This was uncommon in Morocco's mostly male-dominated industry. It surprised and inspired both the travelers and me, as it challenged gender stereotypes and showed how things are changing in the country.
As we traveled together, we shared stories, explored hidden places, and experienced Moroccan traditions. We were amazed at how we could connect with strangers so quickly, even though we came from different backgrounds. We all shared a love for adventure and exploring, reminding me of how meaningful human connections can be, even with people we don't know.
When the journey came to an end and we said goodbye, there was a mix of happiness and sadness in the air. This unique adventure reinforced my belief in the transformative power of travel and the importance of breaking stereotypes. It reminded me of the joy and fulfillment that comes from connecting with people from different walks of life. The journey motivated me to move forward with new inspiration, a deeper sense of purpose, and a strong commitment to creating extraordinary travel experiences that bring people together and leave lasting memories."
