Kerrie Faux
Born & raised in Australia, I left home in my 20s to travel the world. After spending a number of years in Southeast Asia, I headed over to the United States.
After working as a bilingual English/Japanese travel agent for some years, I then had the opportunity to become a Premier Aussie Specialist travel agent.
Upon returning home to Australia, I continue to enjoy using my passion and knowledge of Australia to create unique, experiential itineraries for travelers wanting to make their Down Under travel dreams a reality.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I specialize in everything Australia - from the Reef to the Rainforest; from the Outback to the Opera House. Want a walking tour, a bicycle tour, a multi day hike or a few rounds of golf? Not a problem!
I love working with solo travelers, family & multigenerational travelers, those seeking romance and adventure, and those wanting unique experiences."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I've always enjoyed traveling - as a child I traveled with my family, and then headed off overseas - firstly to Southeast Asia before heading to the Big Apple where I embarked on my travel career."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I have so many special Australian travel memories. Amongst my most memorable experiences would be the Gawler Ranges Safari in Outback South Australia. This includes "Glamping" in luxury safari tents, walking on Lake Gairdner salt lake, being face to face with koalas in the wild, and swimming in the wild with sealions and dolphins in Baird Bay.
Growing up in the city of Sydney, I was often asked "Do Kangaroos hop down the street"? (No, not in Sydney). Now that I live in a coastal, country town, I can say "Yes, Kangaroos do hop down the street"!"
