Our trip to Egypt was 8 days. Spent 3 days in Cairo, 1 day in Alexandria and 3 days on the Aswan - Luxor cruise.
Our guides were great. Very informed and took us around without any delays and all the sites visited as per schedule.

The service was punctual and we were well informed f the timings and contact person. Vehicles used for our tours were up to great standard.

Overall very enjoyable trip.

We loved our guides :: Mohammed who kindly picked us up and dropped us off at the airport in Cairo , Muhmood was our tour guide in Cairo very knowledgeable and so sweet and fun to be with. Both Yusefs on our final day with the tour and drop off at airport were equally amazing! All these men were wonderful, accommodating, smart, and had great personalities - they really made our trip to Egypt special!
Our trip on the Nile was amazing and our guide was very knowledgeable! However, , he lacked a fun and outgoing personality, He only spoke when he was informing us about the sites. This was a let down after our Cairo guides!

We really had a great trip with Kimkim and Sun Pyramids! Mohammed was terrific for helping me plan this trip and was 100% well-planned and on top of everything while we were there. I am not a cruise person but I loved this one. We had terrific and fun service and the room ( we had a larger suite) was great! I really enjoyed the cruise and would do that again! There were only a handful of patrons and so that made it seem very private. Our tour guide Milad from Sun Pyramids went along and guided us every day. Cool system!

The hotel was amazingly clean. I was disturbed on the first day by trash in the ocean on house reef and washed up on shore, We picked up a lot of plastic during our first dive. I am sure they do the best possible to keep it clean but that was a bummer. The other dive sites were better but still had some trash.

This was a hotel that we stayed at 2 separate nights to include a desert tour. The first night was not good. The check-in took 45 mins and our room was tiny and low and a bit dated. We could not get into the hotel lounge and barely got to our room for the sunset, only to find the tiny balcony was locked. While I understand the safety concerns, they should have the bell hop take care of this at time of arrival rather than having us call ( and wait) for separate help, On our second night, we ordered room service and it never came! it turned out they had been knocking repeatedly on another door and blamed us for not answering! When we asked for the order to be resent- they did it again! On our second night, I Sun Pyramids asked them to upgrade us to a better room for our trouble. The suite was great, as was the view of the Nile. Throughout, however, this was the only place we felt like a bother and did not experience the friendliness and service that was excellent throughout the rest of Egypt. The exception was the pool area. They were very nice.

This is a tour of a lifetime! We loved it but would have enjoyed a bit more time with the spinx and meditating at the pyramids. I did not particularly like spending time taking silly tourist pics which you are basically forced to do by photographers looking for tips..

A multi-faceted and amazing experience of one of the world's oldest nation states. So well organised by Mohammed who was incredibly patience and approachable in helping me organising a trip in which I saw many sides of Egypt from world famous sites that need no introduction to the lesser seen parts where the experience was both unique and memorable. Staring with the Great Pyramids of Giza and the great Egyptian Museum in Cairo followed by a relaxing day to Alexandria on the Mediterranean, guide Ahmed gave me a really good introduction to Egypt both ancient and modern from the Pharaohs to Egypt's role in the modern world, giving a great in depth description of all the sophisticated symbology including the hieroglyphics and exploring ancient Egypt's relationships with ancient Greece and Rome in the amazing Alexandria Catacombs. Ahmed's superb introduction to Egypt provided a great foundation for the next part of my trip which was a Nile Cruise visiting Egypt's great monuments including Abu Simbel, the Kom Obo, Edufu, Philae, Hatshepstut and Karnak Temples and the Valley of the Kings where the guide really brought over 3,000 years of history to life. The hot air balloon trip was also a great recommendation, seeing the valley from above at sunrise.

When planning trips, including this one, I try as best as I can to optimise the experience to the full, including selecting locations that enable this, but often, locations deliver so much more than one anticipates, and this was where the second week of my trip became special, including providing me with a personal 'Triple Crown' of memorable experiences starting with diving in the Red Sea at Hurghada seeing some amazing marine life while feel so assured underwater courtesy of a great instructor, Mohamed Ali, whose instructions were so clear that I felt so calm and assured underwater and got a good command of the scuba equipment, one of the finest diving experiences I have had. From beautiful underwater sites, the next stop was an amazing night sky while camping in the Black Desert, one of Egypt's lesser visited parts, looking so other-worldly, as if it had never been visited. The experience was made extra special by guide Evram who was so friendly and fun. His enthusiasm for camping and the outdoors was so evident, which made me feel safe and welcomed in a thrilling remote location. The Milky Way shone like jewels in the Triple Crown, but the crowning glory though was summiting Mount Sinai at sunset, a special experience. in between the desert safaris recommended by Mohamed were also excellent, especially the camel rides.

The first week was Historic Egypt, and the second was Adventure Egypt, both of which were special experiences which will last a lifetime, including in the stars seen in the Black Desert where the Pharaohs believed their eternity was. Tips for future Egypt trip planners - if visiting the deserts, be sure to get Evram as your guide, as you'll have a great time!
