Uma and I are the founders of our company Take Me 2 The World, specializing in creating personalized itineraries and organizing the whole trip for our clients. We strongly believe that travel is very personal and one glove doesn't fit all. That is why we work closely with our guests to understand their specific requirements first and then work to create the ideal trip for them.

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"With our stronger and wider network across New Zealand, our biggest strength is that we can make anything happen anywhere in the country. As an example, Tourism New Zealand commissioned us in November 2022 to create a one-day premium experience for one of the famous sports commentator and social media influencer, showcasing Auckland. I created something really special, which involved private yacht in Waiheke Island with lunch prepared from local produce, wine tasting at one of the top vineyards there, flying him on a helicopter landing inside Eden Park International Stadium, behind the scenes experience at Giapo Ice Creams and rounding off with fine dining dinner at a fusion restaurant. I will work with you to create a special trip that ticks all the boxes for you."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I think it all started when I was invited to escort and guide a group of Rotary Club members from the US visiting my hometown when I was in my teens. That sow the seed for me. After working in other industries in a variety of roles, we founded our business ten years ago. We enjoy every minute of it!"

Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.

"The most unforgettable travel experience for me was our family holiday in a campervan / motor home in North Island. Uma and I took our 2 boys on this trip, picking our van from Auckland. We traversed through the Bay of Plenty region, including Tauranga, Whakatane and Rotorua. Then we travelled to Taupo, proceeded to Waitomo and finished the trip in Auckland. It was very special to us, because it was our first campervan trip and it gave us the flexibility to stop at some of the most beautiful places in upper North Island of New Zealand."

Nats did a fabulous job of customizing our itinerary to our requests and preferences. He was knowledgeable and flexible, and designed a trip that was perfectly paced for our family. He made some recommendations that we would not have thought about doing, and each was right on the mark. Nats did a fabulous job of customizing our itinerary to our requests and preferences. He was knowledgeable and flexible, and designed a trip that was perfectly paced for our family. He made some recommendations that we would not have thought about doing, and each was right on the mark. He provided additional helpful general information about travel in New Zealand so that we did not have to do a lot of additional research. Maybe most importantly--he remained available and helpful throughout the entire trip. He helped make adjustments in real time when our flight was delayed and when we had an issue with our rental car. We are truly grateful and would absolutely recommend him to anyone traveling to New Zealand.
