Silviu Martin
I'm Silviu Martin, an entrepreneur who is passionate about cycling and travel. My promise is to support you with my unmatched local expertise to deliver the most authentic experience possible.
I believe that an unforgettable travel experience has to have these ingredients:
> a truly epic landscape
> an authentic experience
> stellar support
In 2017, I have successfully finished one of the toughest ultra cycling races and definitely my biggest challenge so far, The Transcontinental Race. In 2018, I'm training to race for another epic race, this time in Ireland, The TransAtlantic Way.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I'm passionate about sports in general but I focus on road cycling. Me and my team love to design bespoke trips in the Balkans with Romania, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Croatia, and Slovenia being our focus at this time. We can support fellow cyclists in exploring the epic roads of Transfagarasan and Transalpina in Romania, the Mangart in Slovenia, the Sv. Jure in Croatia along with its fabulous islands."
How did you get involved in travel?
"I believe that traveling is not only about exploring the world and seeing new places. It's also about seeing yourself with new eyes. I've always been fascinated about the freedom of exploring new countries, practicing sports and meeting new people. I feel that travelling is just a natural part of who I am and what do best."
Please share a unique travel experience you will never forget.
"I have so many dear moments that I remember but I have to say that my most epic adventure was cycling from Belgium to Greece in 17 days. It was a 4.000 km bike journey I will definitely not forget."

It was great to have you here and, I must tell you, I was impressed when you told me that you actually had fun in that really rainy and cold day :) Also, great insights about Transylvania. I'm sure they will also help other travelers. Looking forward to seeing you again.
