Valentina Galli
My name is Valentina and I'm Italian. Apart from a few brief experiences living abroad, I have always lived in the wonderful Tuscany. My hometown is a small town in the province of Florence. I know Florence very well because I studied and worked for many years in the city. Florence always makes my heart beat and I still haven't gotten used to its beauty. For the past few years I have been living in Livorno, a city on the Tuscan coast. Living by the sea is very nice, I love to take long walks, even in winter it is so beautiful! The old part of the city of Livorno is made up of small canals and is very picturesque. From Livorno I can easily reach cities like Florence, Pisa and Lucca.
I have a strong passion for foreign languages, I'm a very organized person and I'm "obsessed" with details. Italy is beautiful (I know, I'm not telling you anything new, right?) and I'm very enthusiastic about planning unforgettable trips and memorable experiences with Storywalking tours to those who wish to come to visit my country.
What places and activities do you specialize in?
"I'm specialized in my region, Tuscany. I'm studying Gastronomy and Viticulture at the University: my passion for food and wine have led me to discover places, local producers and unforgettable culinary experiences. "
How did you get involved in travel?
"I have always enjoyed traveling, taking a plane has always made me happy since I was a child. Discovering new cities, new cultures and traditions I believe is a form of richness. I've had several work experiences in tourism and hospitality, both in Italy and abroad. I enjoy being in contact with clients, meeting new people to whom I can show the beauty of my country or help them plan their own trip to Italy. I am a foodie, since a few years I approached the world of gastronomy and wine and I like to accompany travelers to taste typical dishes in local food tours. I also have a passion for Boutique Hotels, I like to go scouting and find new places where to stay or to book for my clients."
