Zehra Alper

I have been more like a traveler until I met Unison Turkey. In my college years, I was a traveler, mostly exploring Turkey. After gaining enough experience, I wanted to make use of my experiences, as well as my enthusiasm towards tourism. Now, I work as a Project Executive, and I am happy to be able to blend my experiences with a beautiful product and share it with Unison Turkey guests!

What places and activities do you specialize in?

"Turkey. I was born & raised in Turkey, and travelled all across the country throughout my personal & professional life. My main specialties are:
Southeastern Turkey Tours,
Coastal Tours and Blue Cruises,
Culinary Tours,
History & Culture Experiences."

How did you get involved in travel?

"I love traveling! When all my friends have been investing in buying houses, nice cars, and all those fancy possessions, I have kept traveling. After all those years, I have learned what it is to be a tourist; and that is the perspective we strive to have at Unison Turkey: “What would a tourist love to do?”. I have to admit that Turkey is a wonderful tourist destination. You would find whatever you are looking for: culture, history, nature, unique cuisine, all types of different climates, you name it. So, I decided to use my experiences to provide better tours to the travelers coming to Turkey. Now, I am a proud member of Unison Turkey!"

My trip to the south Caucasus countries of Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Armenia was excellent! I had 3 different guides (one in each country) that were wonderfully insightful, helpful, and knowledgeable about their countries, food, people, and places. In Azerbaijan, Turkan was super funny and very enthusiastic, and she kept the days action packed with some cool side-trips and a great tour of Baku. In Georgia, Alex took me all over the country including Tbilisi, and I learned a ton about the food... Read more

In Azerbaijan, Turkan was super funny and very enthusiastic, and she kept the days action packed with some cool side-trips and a great tour of Baku. In Georgia, Alex took me all over the country including Tbilisi, and I learned a ton about the food and wine. I really also enjoyed our day in the mountains with tremendous views. And finally, Avet in Armenia had fantastic insights and did some incredible driving all over the country. Yerevan was super fun as was finally getting the chance to see Mt. Ararat (I've never not seen it shrouded in clouds before). I also enjoyed the Armenian wine and food, especially on our trip to the southern mountains. And of course, as usual, Zehra managed all the details behind the scenes to make sure my hotels, guides, and border transits were all in order. Would recommend this kind of trip to anybody looking to get an introductory survey to these 3 countries - it was fantastic!

This is the third time I have used Kimkim to plan a vacation, and again, we were very impressed by how easy it was and the quality of the arrangements that were made for us. We worked with Zehra on part of our trip in Bucharest and then through to Istanbul. Zehra is a KimKim agent specializing in Turkey. Zehra helped us to plan an itinerary that met all our needs. She worked with local guides and drivers to ensure our trip went smoothly. Zehra even met us at the airport and joined us on our first afternoon for a private yacht tour of the Bosphorus Straits. After working with her virtually, it was delightful to meet her in person. She stayed in touch with us throughout the trip. We formed a WhatsApp group for communicating, which we realized was very important after a couple of days in Istanbul. Istanbul traffic is notorious and Zehra's coordination between the local drivers and us ensured that we always knew when our drivers would arrive and the best place to meet them. Zehra also coordinated a local guide, Eda, who was fun to be with. On our last day, Eda took us out for Turkish coffee and then read our fortunes in the coffee sludge. With KimKim you can get the trip that you want, designed by you with input from a local expert. It is wonderful to have someone to contact if something goes awry in a big way. We have appreciate having someone in-country to contact if needed. There were six of us in our group and we all thought that Kimkim, Zehra, the guides and drivers were fantastic.

The time of year I chose to visit definitely made the trip more interesting - from rain to sun to snow, nothing was predictable which made every day fresh and new, not to mention the spectacular destinations.
