All of the guides were great. Not only were they knowledgeable, they were very aware of our adjustments to the altitude and had very good suggestions.

The most memorable was of course Machu Picchu. Our guide Javier was excellent and a great photographer.
Inkaterra Hacienda was amazing. Enjoyed the privacy.

I've never worked with a travel agency before, but the experience was wonderful. We wanted to do a LOT of things, and I wasn't sure how to coordinate the order of activities, transportation, etc. - and it was all taken care of for me. The lodging choices were great, the trip was a nice mix of activities, and our guides were always on time. It was a great trip!

We loved Colca Canyon - the only thing that would make it better is to take fewer stops and stay longer at the ones you do stop at. It felt rushed to only be at a location for about 15 minutes.

Transport was a bit bumpy at first - our guide wasn't there when we got off the train and then we were put into the wrong line before the tour so wasted some time. But ultimately, it worked out and was a great experience.

Our guide Roy at Macchu Picchu was extremely professional and knowledgeable. Our guide David was very good about adapting to our flight delay to Cusco and made the most of the time we did have in the Sacred Valley.

Amazing tours and tour guides! My close friend and I really had a wonderful time in Peru due to the great planning of Liz Karen, the tour operator Lisabeth, and the tour guides. The food tour in Lima with Sue was full of great food and lots of laughs. The tour from Cusco to Ollantaytambo and the Cusco city tours with Manuel was full of interesting information, great food, and he was such a friendly guy with a lot of knowledge. The highlight was Macchu Picchu with Javier - a kind, caring, and friendly tour guide who answered all our questions and made sure we had a great experience. All around just a great time. My apologies for the delay in posting this feedback. This was the first time we used a tour company, and we are so glad we chose kimkim! Liz Karen was absolutely amazing. She was always available on the phone whether we were in Peru or Ecuador. She and Lizbeth Torres were always available to answer any questions. Lisbeth was fantastic as well. I believe she took care of all the operations and logistics for us. The trip was flawless - the taxis would come on time, the guides were all very friendly and extremely knowledgeable, and were flexible to accommodate changes in plans. My wife, my two daughters, and I had one of the best vacations ever!!

The process of planning this trip with the travel company was quite easy. Liz was very patient with us, as we changed the itinerary a few times.
Once we got to Peru, everything was taken care of; transportation, guides, tours, hotels etc. All of our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly and made our experience exceptional. Drivers were always there and on time.

The restaurant recommendations provided by kimkim were wonderful.

We had one poor experience at a hotel, but kimkim made it up to us with a special night out. We were surprised and very grateful.

This trip was close to perfect. Would consider using kimkim again.

Planning and booking was a breeze. I only had to agree to pay and the whole program was set up for us. All guides and hotels except for Lima were great. They were knowledgeable and explained the history very well. The hotels were also very beautiful. However in Lima, the hotel was next to a club and the loud music was on until 1-2 AM so that was very disturbing. Also the guide in Lima spoke 80% of the time in Spanish since we had Spanish speaking people in the group. And it seemed like she was giving us a very shortened form of explanation in English. It was also a waste of our time waiting for her to finish her Spanish explanation.
Once in Peru, I started noticing that hotels and guides, and transportation was not that expensive. So it made me feel that kimkim was charging double the price of the total expenses, possibly more. Also, we had to cancel a part of a trip to Puno because of health issues, and there was no refund from that part of the trip. I had to actually pay additionally from my pocket for extra two nights. The travel agent's network should have more flexibility in canceling and getting refunds than an individual traveler would.

Was fantastic experience and loved every part of this trip to the Amazon forests. Right from landing in Puerto Maldonado to reaching the lodge through the river, Rainforest expeditions were excellent in organising every aspect of the trip and making it memorable! We enjoyed the stay at Refugio, the lounge, rooms, food and staff hospitality. Our guide Victor was amazing and gave us unforgettable experience showing different animals and creatures and all the forest walks very great!
