We loved this trip. Our favorite stop was Douro Valley and Porto. The Quinta in Douro was amazing so beautiful and homey. Only issue was our map tried to take us up the backroad into the vineyard which was very scary on the small single lane, rocky road. The suggestions in the guidebook were great and made it very easy to check off the main tourist attractions in all of the smaller towns where we only had a night to visit.

Tiago was also great and answered all my questions and handled my covid anxiety before the trip very well! When the airline lost our baggage he even tried to help track it down for us and checked in with us multiple times during our trip. Overall a great experience.

Location was great but wasn’t super thrilled that there was no parking or validation. Spent $112 on parking for two days.

PS: I'm also sorry about the parking in Ribeira. The hotels in that area used to have validation but because of the works in downtown that shut some of the other parking lots they've haven't had access to validation for some time now. And I agree that what they're charging is outrageous...
