Robi helped us plan one of the best Europe trips for our family. We chose to do a completely self-guided tour, but Robi gave us a huge leg up – he helped us book hotels, car rentals, choose restaurants, and recommend places to go. He is very experienced and flexible - you essentially get full reign in how you want to spend time in Croatia. During the trip, he was easily reachable and very responsive through WhatsApp. I would 100% recommend working with Robi when planning a trip to Croatia, he is an absolute pleasure to work with!
Hotel Reviews
Great location and a comfortable stay. Parking is tricky since there are very limited spots – be sure to first go to the front desk to ask for them to save you a parking spot.
Spacious rooms, just a few minutes' walk to the Krka National Park ferry. We were on the third floor where the wifi was so spotty it essentially didn't work. Hotel restaurant is a good value for a dinner.
Probably the best hotel to stay at in Zagreb. The best part is its centrality to the Zagreb Old Town.
Great option if you want to take a break near the Plitvice lakes area. Both hotel restaurants are great choices for lunch or dinner. Outdoor lawn with chairs and a pool was a great amenity, especially in the summer.
It's a bit small, but it's a very clean and comfortable stay. Parking can be a bit tricky, and if you come in through the back you may need to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs before you can use the elevator. Just a few minutes' walk to the Split Old Town.
Very inclusive and comfortable hotel resort with two pools and outdoor lounging. The only downside was that our room had a moldy smell and some of the waiters were hard to communicate with. A few minutes' walk to the bus #6 station, which will get you to the Dubrovnik Old Town in about 15 minutes.
Activity Reviews
This was my favorite city to visit. I love music so the Sea Organ was one of the most memorable experiences in Croatia.
Most Old Town attractions are within walking distance and can be visited in a single walking trip of an hour or so.
Rastoke is a must-stop village. The town rests on the intersection of two rivers at different elevations, sitting right on the edge of a wide-stretching waterfall. You'd have to go there to experience its beauty yourself!
Gorgeous. Sadly the waterfall was closed, but the lakes were lovely. We almost chose to hike 20 km because we thought the boat couldn't take everyone at once and we would have to wait an hour, but luckily two boats came.
Very pretty town. I wish we visited earlier in the day to avoid the heat. Overall I think we could even spend a day here.
To be honest, after visiting Plitvice, Krka National Park was underwhelming. I would have honestly been fine skipping this part of the trip.
Very charming town! If it was less hot and earlier in the day I would have definitely climbed the walls.
Beautiful.
