My husband and I were taking a trip alone after 20 years of work and having kids and put Mathias and Kim Kim in charge of our first journey to Norway, and we absolutely could not have been more pleased with the outcome. We informed Kim Kim of our interest in adventure in combination with nice places to stay to keep both my husband and myself happy, and it couldn’t have been a more beautiful journey. We started off in Oslo, and were directed of exactly where to visit and enjoy, while during our time there, and then, at each destination, we were either on a boat, on a train or in a car or a plane, and it was always a great adventure and completely and totally planned out and completely and totally paid for and taken care of. Our itinerary included Flam, Bergen, Bodo and the Lofton Islands - all spectacular and overwhelmingly gorgeous. We have been on many travel trips and actually had private guides with us, but Mathias, although not physically with us, was with us every single step of the way Via phone contact. He was a thoughtful, respectful of our wishes and kind guide of whom considered all of our desires, and took those to the limit. My husband wants me to include that we had many “special requests” for Mathias and put him to work and he was most gracious about every single one of them. 😃We truly could not be happier, and only wish that Matthias could be our guide on our next adventure, wherever that is in the world. We will 100% most definitely use Kim Kim in the future and already recommended Kim Kim too many friends and we have only been back one week.

Gorgeous, clean, historical hotel!

Spotless Hotel, in the perfect location to enjoy this amazing little city! The hotel staff could not have been kinder, and the rooms were absolutely spotless and so comfortable. The breakfast and breakfast place was gorgeous, and like sitting in a beautiful art scene in Italy! We could not have loved this place more
This hotel was not as authentic and amazing as the other hotels on our trip. We found the inside sterile, and it was under construction, so very difficult to maneuver to get to the hotel and the location was not nearly as beautiful. Definitely, just stopping spot to get to the next amazing place.
Simply can’t say enough about this amazing fishing lodge! From the absolute beauty, Location and the staff we could not be more pleased. The hospitality of Maria in particular made us feel like we had a personal friend in Balstad. We had a situation and needed a different room, and Maria was so accommodating and happy to switch for us at no extra fee. We hope to return to this very location and absolutely loved where it’s sat as there was incredible goings-on all around the hotel from the most beautiful hike of our entire trip to fabulous little restaurants close by. Loved this place.
This incredibly, darling, fishing hut situation was quite possibly our favorite place of the entire trip. That is a funny thing to say, since it was the tiniest, but it was so authentic, so clean, and we felt like we were actually fisherman Wayback when. The restaurant that was part of this establishment was especially special and authentic.
