The city of Puerto Iguazú is only 12 miles away from the Iguazú National Park and its famous waterfalls. There are several ways to reach the waterfalls from the city, including private transfers, taxis and a local bus that takes you straight from the Puerto Iguazú bus terminal to the park on the Argentine side of the falls.

Note that to reach the Brazilian side of the falls you will need to cross the border into Brazil and then enter the Brazilian side of the park. Make sure to bring your passport!
By Private Transfer or Taxi

Private transfers are widely available from Puerto Iguazú to Iguazú National Park, 11 miles away. Transfers will drop you off at the entrance of the park. From there getting around and reaching the Iguazú Falls is easy, with several clearly-marked trails and tourist offices to point you in the right direction.
You can also take a taxi to Iguazú National Park, which will drop you off at the entrance.
By Rental Car
Duration: 20 minutes
If you are traveling by rental car, you can drive to Iguazú Falls by taking the RN12 to the RN101. The entrance to Iguazú National Park is clearly marked. There is paid parking available for visitors.
By Bus
Duration: 20 minutes
Buses leave the Puerto Iguazú bus terminal every 20 minutes and will also drop you off at the entrance of the park.
