Puerto Madryn, on Argentina's Atlantic coast, is over 1,100 miles (1,770 km) north of Ushuaia. Because the Puerto Madryn airport is very small, the easiest way to travel between the two cities is to take a bus or private transfer to Trelew, 40 miles (65 km) away, and then fly south to Ushuaia.
