On arrival in Puerto Varas, you'll have free time to walk around the lakeside village and spot multicultural influences from German architecture to Indigenous Mapuche heritage. From there, you'll fly to Chaitén for a warm-up hike on the trails near Lodge Caleta Gonzalo.
