Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Enjoy your morning coffee with views of the savanna
Welcome to Southern Africa! After arriving in Cape Town, you'll catch a prearranged flight to Hoedspruit, a town set near of the world-famous Kruger National Park. On arrival, your transfer will take you straight to Tangala Safari Camp. Enjoy three nights of full-board accommodation in traditional huts with opportunities to view wild game two times per day. Here you can enjoy endless views of the savanna, including wildlife roaming just outside your bedroom window. Wake early for beautiful sunrises, laps in the pool, and morning coffee with elephants in the distance.
Day 2: Search for wildlife on daily safaris
You came for the wildlife, so enjoy your time at Thornybush Game Reserve watching animals roam the savanna. Daily safaris are offered in the early morning or evening. Your guides and expert trackers will expose you to wildlife at its best: in natural environments and without interference. The reserve borders the Greater Kruger National Park, allowing for daily game and migratory bird sightings. Trained rangers will take you out to explore the beautiful Thornybush Game Reserve in custom built vehicles which are open and comfortable, giving you a panoramic view throughout your safari experience.
Day 3: Find big game in Kruger National Park
Enjoy your second day of safaris at Thornybush Game Reserve. Have a leisurely morning with breakfast and coffee overlooking the savanna, or take a morning swim in the pool while zebras gaze by. The reserve offers other activities to keep you entertained between your daily safaris.

Day 4: Sip local wine on a sunset cruise
Enjoy a beautiful sunrise and a packed breakfast while transferring to Nelspruit, where you will board your scheduled flight to Livingstone. On arrival, you'll transfer across the border to Victoria Falls Safari Lodge, a picturesque bed and breakfast with stunning views of a populated wildlife watering hole.
In the afternoon, your host will collect you for a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Soak in the relaxing sights and sounds of the river while enjoying local drinks and snacks, and while witnessing a spectacular African sunset. Cruise back to the jetty and transfer to the hotel in the evening.
Day 5: Discover Victoria Falls with a private guide
After breakfast, your host will collect you for a guided tour of the world-famous Victoria Falls on a spectacular hike. The first stop is the Big Tree - a massive, 2,000-year-old baobab tree. You'll soon reach Livingstone’s statue and Devil’s Cataract before proceeding through the rainforest to Danger Point. The total walk is just under two miles (3 km) with many spectacular view points along the way. Note that the falls are fullest in June and lowest in November due to seasonal rains.
After your tour of the falls, your host will transfer you across the border to Chobe Safari Lodge in Botswana. Here you will spend two nights enjoying full-board benefits in a luxury room, plus two boat cruises, two safaris, and complimentary park fees.
Day 6: Watch elephants in Chobe National Park
Enjoy a second day at your posh accommodation in Chobe Safari Lodge, set in Chobe National Park. Along with many species of big game, Chobe National Park boasts the largest concentration of elephants in Africa. This area is a must if you've ever dreamed of seeing the majestic creature in its natural habitat. All your wildlife drives and boat cruises offer the opportunity to witness this amazing species.
Day 7: One last sunrise safari
It's time to say goodbye to your wildlife adventure, but not before one last safari! Wake early for a final drive through Chobe National Park and watch animals enjoy their morning routines. After breakfast, you'll transfer to Kasane Airport and board your scheduled flight to Johannesburg from where you will continue on your own arrangements.
