Day 1: Arrival in Reykjavik - Northern Lights
Welcome to Reykjavik! Iceland's capital is small and cozy and is the northern-most capital in the world. Transfer to your hotel, then head out for sightseeing and dinner out. In the evening join a tour group to see the Aurora Borealis.
Day 2: Golden Circle Tour
The Golden Circle Tour of Reykjavik's top natural spots is a must-see for every visitor. Visit Thingvellir National Park, Geysir Geothermal Area, and Gullfoss Waterfall. Learn about Icelandic history, geology, and rich cultural heritage on this full-day tour.
Chat with a local specialist who can help organize your trip.
Day 3: South Coast - Skaftafell - Jokulsarlon
Iceland's South Coast is varied and offers visitors a chance to see diverse landscapes, from vast farmlands and wide black sandy beaches to active volcanoes and glacial rivers.
Today's highlights include the Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, the black sand beach at Reynisfjara, the small village of Vik and breathtaking views of the surrounding glaciers and mountains.
Day 4: Jokulsarlon Glacial Lagoon - Ice Cave – Skaftafell
Your first stop of the day is the Jokulsarlon Lagoon to see massive floating icebergs and marine wildlife. From here continue to see the ice caves, a popular destination for tourists thanks to the icy blue light which filters through the glacier walls.
On your way back to Reykjavik stop at Skaftafell National Park to see mountains and glaciers. End the day with a nighttime viewing of the Northern Lights on your drive back to Reykjavik.
Day 5: Departure
Your last day in Iceland. Head from your accommodation in Reykjavik to Keflavik Airport for your flight home. Safe travels!
