Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrive in Corfu
Welcome to Corfu! Start your adventure here with a warm welcome from your captain and crew, a tour of the yacht, and then a leisurely stroll through the famous kantounia (little alleyways) of the charming town. Sip a cup of tea at Liston Square or shop at the market until you're ready to retire.
Day 2: Sail to Syvota
It's time to lift the anchor and set sail! Your first stop is the coastal town of Mourtos (also known as Syvota) on the mainland. Nestled along the rugged coast, a chain of islets around the port make Syvota an ideal yachting location. Disembark and join the skipper and crew for a proper Greek meal in a traditional taverna. Then spend some time exploring the village and the coast. The area is known for its sheltered beaches, lush islets, and secret coves.
Day 3: Sail to Paxos
Meander along the coast and drop anchor in one of the numerous coves around Syvota for a morning swim before setting sail for Gaios—the sprawling main port town of Paxos Island. Explore the coastline and dine in one of the many excellent seaside restaurants.
Chat with a local specialist who can help organize your trip.
Day 4: Sail to Lefkas
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and then take to the sea for a peaceful sail to Lefkas. Pass the famous floating bridge as you slip into the marina in the early afternoon and head ashore to shop, sightsee, and explore the town. The pedestrian-only shopping center is particularly lively in the early evening and there are beautiful beaches north of town easily accessible via rented bicycle.
Day 5: Lefkas & Preveza
After a relaxing morning in Lefkas, sail through azure waters to the nearby mainland town of Preveza—home of the recently discovered ancient Roman city of Nikopolis. Very likely the largest ancient city in Greece, the sweeping ruins are on UNESCO's tentative list of future World Heritage Sites. Explore amphitheaters and basilicas before returning to the deep blue sea.
Day 6: Antipaxos & Gaios
Wave farewell to the mainland again as you make your way to one of the gems of the Ionian Sea: the Paxoi Islands. First, pause for a swim at Voutoumi Bay on Antipaxos. Then make your way into Gaios Harbor for the second visit of your trip. Spend your day exploring the interior of the island, tasting its famous olive oil, and trying incredible local wines.
Day 7: Lakka Bay at Paxos
Today's sail is a short one, so take your time enjoying the morning in Gaios before weaving your way to nearby Lakka Bay in Paxos, a village built like an amphitheater around the bay. This safe anchorage and beautiful setting is where you'll spend your final night before bidding Greece a fond farewell.
Day 8: Sail to Corfu & Depart
One last relaxing, sunny day aboard the yacht is the perfect way to end a perfect vacation. Sail north toward UNESCO-recognized Corfu. Explore the dual fortresses, take a few last stunning photos, and wrap up your trip with any final must-sees before making your way home.
