Upon arrival at Santiago, you will be picked up at the airport and brought to your hotel. Settle in before joining your guide to tour Chile's capital and its highlights. Visit Chile's seat of government and Santiago's main square, La Plaza de Armas, and La Vega market. Ride the cable car to Cerro San Cristóbal (San Cristóbal Hill) and explore historic neighborhoods, including Lastarria, Bellas Artes, and Santiago Centro. Enjoy dinner in the bohemian neighborhood of Bellavista.
Day 2: Wine Tasting and Valparaíso
Drive to the Valle Casablanca, world-renowned for its wine production. Spend some time touring incredible vineyards and sampling several grape varieties along with locally-produced cheeses, or chocolate. Continue on to Valaparaíso, famous for its importance as a South Pacific port of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Tour Valaparaíso's historic quarter — a UNESCO World Heritage Site — stopping at the port, the Plaza Sotomayor y Aníbal Pinto, the Alegre, Concepción y Florida, and Artillería Hills. Return to your hotel in Santiago.
Day 3: Portillo Ski Center
After breakfast, you will be taken to the Portillo Ski Center. Nestled among the Andes, 100 miles northeast of Santiago, Portillo Ski Center offers skiers of all levels a boutique ski experience.
