Welcome to Sweden! Once you arrive at the Stockholm Arlanda Airport, hop aboard the Arlanda Airport Express for a short trip to the idyllic capital, Stockholm. After you settle in, head to the island of Långholmen for a guided kayaking adventure through the Stockholm archipelago. Uppsala, located 1.5 hours north of the capital, is filled with historical and cultural landmarks, as well as outdoor activities for nature lovers. Pick up your rental car in Stockholm and drive to the Uppsala Cathedral, a Gothic-style cathedral known for its beautiful stained glass windows and astronomical clock, one of the oldest in the world. Next, visit the Uppsala Castle, a castle built in the 16th century that has served as a royal palace, a prison, and now as a museum.
Outside the city, you'll find the Årike Fyri Nature Reserve, a tranquil oasis filled with lush meadows, babbling streams, and diverse wildlife. Join a guided walking tour as you stroll through picturesque meadows teeming with wildflowers, follow the meandering streams, and learn the names of any trees or wildlife you come across.

The four-hour drive begins in the Dalarna town of Leksan, known for its local architecture and the significant Leksand Church. Next, drive to the historical town of Falun, home to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Falun Mine. A short drive away in Sundborn, visit the Carl Larsson-gården, home of famous painter Carl Larsson.
Continue your drive to Avesta and spot European bison in their natural habitat at the Avesta Bison Park, or explore the old ironworks at Verket. Discover Sala's silver legacy at the Sala Silver Mine, one of the world's best-preserved silver mines. The last stop before you arrive in Örebro is Västerås, where you can marvel at the gorgeous architecture of Västerås Cathedral or experience Swedish history and culture at the Vallby Open Air Museum.
Finally, you'll reach the charming Örebro, a vibrant city known for its long history. You'll have the rest of the day free to explore. Day 6: Day Trip to Tiveden National Park

Day 11: Cooking & Canoeing on Lake Immeln, Drive to Åhus
Experience the ultimate outdoor culinary adventure on a half-day trip to Lake Immeln. The day starts with an overview of canoeing in Sweden, including important information on water safety and how to paddle a canoe. Explore the beauty of the lake as you glide along the water, and discover hidden gems along the way. Day 12: Drive to Falkenberg via Halmstad Castle, Wine Tasting at Ästad Vingård
Today, you'll say farewell to Åhus and make the two-hour drive to the town of Halmstad to visit the regal castle of Halmstad's Slott. Wander around the castle grounds, bask in the architectural beauty, and let your imagination run wild with tales of the past. Continue to Falkenberg, a charming coastal town that offers a delightful blend of history, nature, and relaxation. Nestled along the beautiful Halland Coast, Falkenberg is known for its beautiful beaches. Sink your toes into the soft golden sands of Skrea Beach, then hike along the scenic coastal path that stretches along the sea.
Continue your exploration of the city at the picturesque Falkenberg Fortress, an impressive medieval stronghold that overlooks the town and the Ätran River, or delve into the town's maritime history at the Falkenberg Museum. With a rich history from the 17th century, Gothenburg offers a mix of historic and modern attractions. The city is home to the Gothenburg Museum of Art, which features works by Rembrandt, Rubens, and other masters, as well as the Universeum, a science center and aquarium with a rainforest habitat.
Once you've settled in, join a local professional photographer for a three-hour workshop, where you'll capture the Haga District's charming cobbled streets and boutiques and the iconic sights on a photography tour. You'll visit the Gothenburg Opera, the Skansen Kronan (a hilltop fortress), the Gothenburg Botanical Garden, and the Feskekôrka, the seafood market in a beautiful 19th-century building. Along the way, you'll have plenty of opportunities to take fantastic photos of these landmarks and practice your photography skills.

On your last morning in Sweden, enjoy a brunch cruise through Gothenburg's archipelago with a stop at the famous island of Brännö. Savor a classic brunch buffet with views of the many surrounding islands, including Asperö, Styrsö, and Köpstadsö. At Brännö, take a short stop to stretch your legs and explore the vibrant island.
