From our first meeting with Raj we knew we were in good hands. He as welcoming and helpful as he went through our weekā€™s itinerary.
Our guide for the first 2 locations was Pratikshya. She was energetic, fun, knowledgeable, patient and kind. We loved our time with her. She helped us change our itinerary when our mountain flight was cancelled and we were able to visit a base camp instead which was wonderful.
When we went to Chitwan we had Gobinda as our naturalist. He was very knowledgeable, kind, patient and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.
The hotels we stayed in were all first class. Nepali Ghar was charming. The restaurant was great and the staff was very helpful.
Temple Tree Resort and Spa was beautiful, had great spa services and great food. The Bahari Lodge in Chitwan was amazing. The cabins were fantastic, the staff top notch and the food delicious.
This trip exceeded all expectations and I canā€™t thank KimKim enough for your help and guidance. If I could change one thing, Iā€™d stay in Chitwan one more day. I will definitely encourage my friends to visit Nepal and use your company to guide them. I would love to come back someday soon to do some trekking.
I would love to know what I can do to help the people of Nepal.

Sangita also sends out preparations and packing reminders prior to the trip, and her broader team stayed in contact with me throughout my trekking trip.

Speedy Response: It was a bonus when Sangita always respond within 24 hours. She was able to make adjustments when my schedule changes. I particularly appreciated an additional activity booking after I arrived in Nepal. Sangita and her team could take an extra mile to ensure guests get the most out of visiting their country.

Personalized and Detailed Advice: Many guidebooks, blogs and YouTube channels would showcase where to visit in Nepal. With a personal travel advisor like Sangita, she and her team were able to advise where to prioritize after knowing your interests and experiences.

Welcoming Hospitality by Team: I much enjoy meeting Sangita and her team in person while in Nepal (I did not expect such personalized follow through). It was a lovely cross cultural experience from a warm welcome at the airport, trekking briefing, a short walk to the market, cooking class at her office and a lovely farewell lunch to wrap up the trip. She came and visited us in Kathmandu and even gave us a private walking tour in Thamil showing us some insider locations. THANK YOU Sangita.
The Pikey Peak trek was a spectacular hike along the Himalayans with stunning views of Mount Everest. Our guide, Mietra, was a local and knew the area very well. He also knew the owners of the Tea Houses and made sure we were very well taken care of. The warm breakfasts, lunches and dinners were delicious everywhere.
Our porter Buan always had a big smile on his face, despite the heavy bag he had to carry. Also a shoutout to our driver, who managed to drive us safely to/from the trails despite the very bad road conditions (most roads were washed away in September).

We went to Pokhara and Rabin did a great job accommodating all our activities such as paragliding, Sunrise Zipline, Canoeing and light trekking. Once again Rabin could not have been more helpful. Always on time or early and helped us enormously.
We went on to Chitwan at Tiger Tops, looking for Tigers. Sam was our guide, once again, as with all guides, communication was perfect and he thought outside the box to help us. In particular when I had trouble getting into the back of the jeep, he provided a crate as a stepping stool for me. Most helpful and helped make the ride more enjoyable without worrying about getting in and out of the jeep.
Food has been incredible and plentiful. All staff most accommodating and polite. Such an amazing experience.
Last we went to Bhutan and met our guide BJ and driver Mr Supra. BJ gave us a wonderful history of Buddhism and the History of Bhutan. He gave us a perfect view and taste of Bhutan. He even managed to give us a free room upgrade in one of the hotels when we wanted to be close to the dining area, as we were so happily tired from sight-seeing and needed an early morning departure to get to the start of the trek to Tigers Nest. BJ and Mr Supra could not have been more helpful in assisting us safely up to Tigers Nest Monastery and then the long trek back down to the parking lot.
What a wonderful vacation. So thankful for Social Tours help in organizing this trip, always available and always helpful and always waiting patiently at every airport to assist departures and arrivals with ease and happiness.

Depends on your view of 5 star. For authentic accommodation in the Tiger Reserve it was great. Staff could not feed us enough, at any time we needed to eat. Food was amazing. Only consideration which I did not mind was that voices travelled from room to room easily as no glass in windows, just screen mesh. So when we talked at 3am in the morning about something, the neighbors heard us. I overlooked this and enjoyed everything else they had to offer and the beautiful authentic atmosphere. Plus 13 elephants and a baby elephant 1 1/2 month old, such a treat to see. Walking with elephants was amazing and these silent body guards were very good at their jobs. We saw tons of rhinos, plus babies, 4 types of deer and babies, 2 types of crocodiles, one extremely rare, many kinds of monkeys, birds etc. Plus a family of tigers and leopard tracks fresh, often over our jeep tracks within hours. Iā€™m sure they were watching us all the time. Sam our guide was in touch with the other guides so we did not miss anything. The drivers did an excellent job as well. We so enjoyed sundowners with the elephants and the boat trip each day. Wonderful

Amazing trek. Our guide Gyaljan and our porter Khawa were superb. They looked after us exceptionally well, from our arrival in Kathmandu to our return to Pokhara. They made sure we had the best rooms in the tea houses and even woke us up some mornings when we nearly overslept..! We had lots of laughs along the way šŸ˜. The trek itself was superb. The Thorang La was tricky and requires a reasonable level of fitness, but the sense of achievement was incredible. Would recommend this trek and our guide/porter/friends Gyaljan and Khawa to anyone who wants to experience this area.

Highlights included the cultural tour of Kathmandu and the natural safari tours at Chitwan National Park. We were fortunate to be traveling during the Diwali holidays, as this added to the whole Nepal experience.

Excellent interpretive guide and great introduction to Nepal. The Stupa and artistā€™s school at Boudhanath were highlights of this first day of touring.

Safaris included jungle tours by jeep, canoe, and by foot, each offering different experiences and opportunities for wildlife viewing. These were spaced out over three days, and afforded rest and relaxation along the way. We stayed at Green Park and highly recommend for its wonderful accommodations, gardens, meals, swimming pool, and overall service.

We looked forward with great anticipation to our first views of the Annapurna range, but were disappointed that the weather did not cooperate. We enjoyed the experience none the less.

Guide Bire's experience, energy, and gentle encouragement got us through some tough days and made it all worth it (seriously, give that man a raise!). Porter Tez was so attentive and kind. They're a great team! Trip highlights were the beautiful remote villages of Shyala, Samagaun, and Samdo. Thank you Kimkim!

The hotel was in a great location, had incredibly friendly and attentive staff, and good services. The rooms were clean but did have a musty smell (Kathmandu is so humid!), which is difficult if you're sensitive to that sort of thing.

Thanks for the outstanding review and personal commendation! I must mention the rest of our team behind the scenes who all contribute to the preparation and running of our trips, making those of us on the front line look very good. Dolma was really great, I loved having a young woman as guide. She was gentle and kind, but also feisty and fun. And Sanjeev our Porter went above and beyond, helping me descend Kyangjin Ri which was slippery. Langtang village was beautiful and the Flavours Hotel clean and lovely.
Our accomodation in Kathmandu was very nice, the breakfast delicious and the room a nice big size!
Amanda also did more than expected with helping us post trek, organising flights.
