Coral Sea Dreaming: Overnight Dive, Snorkel and Sail Experience from Cairns, Cairns

Join the Coral Sea Dreaming team for an intimate 2-day/1-night live aboard experience exploring the best reefs Cairns has to offer with a small, personalized group of up to 12 guests. Kick-off day one with an 8am departure, enjoy guided diving or snorkeling, encounter vibrant marine life, and experience the unique opportunity of night diving. Wake up to an ocean sunrise on day two, and continue diving or snorkeling at various locations before a scenic journey back to Cairns, concluding around 4pm. This boutique excursion promises unforgettable memories and a chance to share your sea dreams!

Start your unique 2-day, 1-night Coral Sea Dreaming experience by departing from Cairns at 8 am. As we sail off into the paradise of Far North Queensland and the Great Barrier Reef, enjoy morning tea and snacks on board. This is a perfect time to get acquainted with the crew and other passengers. Next, gear up and get ready to explore the wonders of the reef in guided dives led by our experienced instructors. If diving is not your thing, you can snorkel the shallow coral gardens instead. Keep an eye out for turtles, tropical fish of every hue, reef sharks, and the Great Barrier Reef's remarkable coral formations.

Following your first dive or snorkel session, take a break for lunch on board. Afterward, you are free to either dive back into the sea for more underwater exploration or relax on the deck. As the sun starts to set, prepare for a special treat – a night dive. Since we hold one of the few introductory night diving licenses in Australia, we can offer this unique experience even if you are not a certified diver. Witness the reef transform as nocturnal sea creatures wake up, providing a completely different perspective of this natural wonder.

Wind down after your night dive by relaxing with a drink in your hand, swapping stories with fellow passengers under the star-lit sky. Spend the night on the reef and wake up to a breathtaking sunrise over the ocean. Enjoy a continental breakfast on deck with a priceless view of the reef as your backdrop.

On day two, more diving or snorkeling awaits as we move between different locations on the reef. After lunch on board, soak in the journey back to Cairns against the backdrop of beautiful mountain ranges. We'll arrive back in the Cairns marina around 4 pm, leaving you with plenty of time to get ready for a night out in the city.
