Gastronomic Sailing Experience Around Saronikos, Athens

Enjoy six hours aboard a luxury boat where you will sail around the Athenian Riviera, sample top-quality Greek cuisine, and take in shoreline views of Athens or nearby small islands. Beginning at either 9 am or 3:30 pm, you will board the boat from the Yacht Club of Amfitheas. Your hosts, accompanied by a small crew, will sail the vessel over the smooth Athenian Riviera as you enjoy several traditional Greek dishes, swim in the Aegean sea, sample locally-produced wine or beer, and take in the views.

Explore the coastline around Athens on this private, six-hour gastronomic experience aboard a luxury Greek boat. For four people minimum, this cruise sets sail from the Amfitheas Yacht Club—a fifteen-minute drive from the center of Athens. Choose either the lunchtime cruise at 9 am or the sunset one at 3:30 pm, both lasting for approximately six hours. Your trip will consist of a menu of expertly cooked dishes and selected drinks that distill the typical cuisines native to different Greek regions and islands. 

Once you step onto the mahogany-lined vessel, your hosts and a small, specialized crew will welcome you aboard the Aiolis. Sip tea or coffee as you set out from the harbor and cruise along the Athenian Riviera. After an hour of sailing the clear waters, your skipper will moor the boat either at the island of Ydrousa, or the beach of Vouliagmeni depending on the wind direction. The crew will equip you with towels and snorkeling gear so that you can dip in the sea, see Greece's marine wildlife, and build up an appetite before lunch. 

When you return to the deck, you will choose from a menu of 14 dishes of Greek origin. The chef will also help you to pair your chosen dishes with wine or beer sourced from local producers. Menu items include a series of appetizers and main courses such as Greek sushi, Bougiourdi from Thessanoliki, grilled Talagani cheese from Messini, steamed mussels, and moussaka. Included in the price of the trip is a glass of fine white or red wine or beer. 

Slowly cruise back to the yacht club, where your crew will bid you farewell.
