Set off on a private, six-hour gastronomic cruise along the Athenian Riviera aboard a luxurious 56-foot sailing yacht. After a transfer from your Athens hotel to the Amfitheas Yacht Club, you'll step aboard the teak-decked vessel and cast off into the Saronic Gulf. Pass idyllic islands and beaches as you enjoy spectacular coastal views, then drop anchor for a chance to swim and snorkel in the turquoise waters. Back onboard, sit down to a delicious spread of 14 traditional Greek dishes that showcase regional flavors and produce, paired with local wines and beers.

What you'll do

Explore the Saronic Gulf and the coastline around Athens on this private, six-hour gastronomic sailing adventure. A driver will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to the Amfitheas Yacht Club—a 15-minute drive from the center of Athens. Choose either the lunchtime cruise at 9 am or the sunset one at 3:30 pm, both lasting for approximately six hours. 

Step onto the teak-decked Aiolis, a 56-foot (17 m) luxury sailing yacht, as your hosts and a small, specialized crew welcome you aboard. Sip tea or coffee as you set out from the harbor and cruise along the Athenian Riviera. After an hour of sailing the clear waters, your skipper will drop anchor at the island of Ydrousa or the beach of Vouliagmeni, depending on the wind direction. The crew will equip you with towels and snorkeling gear so that you can take a dip in the sea, see Greece's marine wildlife, and build up an appetite before lunch. 

When you return to the deck, you'll sit down to a feast of expertly prepared dishes that highlight the typical cuisines native to different Greek regions and islands. The chef will also help you pair your chosen dishes with wine or beer sourced from local producers. Menu items include a series of appetizers and main courses such as Greek sushi, bougiourdi from Thessanoliki, grilled talagani cheese from Messini, steamed mussels, and moussaka. After a leisurely meal surrounded by Aegean views, you'll relax on deck as you slowly cruise back to the yacht club and bid your crew farewell.
