Enjoy scenic views and soothing soaks in these saltwater hot pools overlooking Skjálfandi Bay and the Arctic Circle.
Very nice experience; amazing views; not overcrowded -- we really enjoyed this bath. It was our #2 favorite bath out of five (Vok was our favorite).

What you'll do
On arrival at the GeoSea Geothermal Sea Baths, you'll check in at reception to receive your fluffy robe, towel, and a scanner bracelet, which secures your locker and serves as a payment method for purchases at the swim-up bar. Head into the spa-like changing rooms to shower off with natural Icelandic Sóley Organics products, then step outside and choose from the three infinity-style hot pools, each built into the cliff edge for panoramic views over Skjálfandi Bay and Húsavik's cheerful yellow Húsavíkurviti lighthouse.
The unique blend of mineral-rich seawater here is renowned for its soothing properties, and a continuous flow from the natural geothermal steam bores means the pools are constantly refreshed—with overflow tumbling over the cliff edge to the sea below. The temperatures in each pool range from a balmy 100.4 F° (38 C°) to 102.2 F° (39 C°) so you can soak year-round, and there's a separate steam room plus a swim-up bar where you can grab a glass of bubbly or a juice without leaving the water.
Húsavik is considered Iceland's whale watching capital, so keep an eye out to sea and you might spot whales or dolphins, as well as diverse seabirds. When you're ready to step back inside, don your robe and grab a hot drink or a snack at the small on-site restaurant, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and sea views.
