Hike to Romsdalseggen
Overview
The trailhead for this hike is a short bus ride from the town of Åndalsnes in the Vengedalen Valley. It's a windy trail that ascends to the top of the ridge, where you'll enjoy panoramic views of the Romsdal Mountains, with the Trollveggen wall, Romsdalshorn, and Vengetindene being the most distinctive peaks. You can also view other iconic mountains like Kongen, Dronninga, and the Trolltindane Ridge.
Beyond that, the view extends to the town of Molde and the Norwegian Sea. The Rauma River snakes through the valley below, with the Rauma Railway tracks running beside it. So, bring your camera, because you won't find views like this anywhere else on earth!
